Great private trip to Rosario Island, Cholon, and Baru. Would go again in a heartbeat! - Great private trip to Rosario Island, Cholon, and Baru. We had a great time with Kevin and his partner(driver) on this 9 hour private boat tour. Started off on the 45 minute drive out to Rosario, with stops along the way to see the historic fort at the entrance to Cartagena bay. Stopped to check out Pablo Escobar's abandon mega mansion he built in Rosario. Then onto Rosario where we dropped anchor and spent an hour doing amazing snorkeling. I've snorkeled all around the world and here near Rosario was among the best with abundant fish life and crystal clear water. Next was a trip out to a small island that we pulled right up to the sandy shore and walked right out bare footed to grab lunch and drinks. Next was another snorkeling stop then another random beach. This time we dove into the water to get to shore, walked up and down the sandy beach then swam back to the boated to go to 1 more spot for swimming. The only thing that went wrong as that we were promised snorkel gear was included on the boat but when we got to the snorkeling area the boat drivers realized they had forgotten them. No problem though, there were guys riding around in boats renting good quality equipment so we were able to rent and snorkel. The drivers of the boat didn't offer to pay for the rental, so I covered the cost. Some people would probably make a big deal of who pays, but it was 80,000COP = $18USD. All in all it was a fantastic day, loved the drivers and they made this our best day of our week in Colombia!

Worth the cost for private tour. - Great full day boat tour. Worth the extra cost to not be packed in like the group boats that were on the water, and to customize what you want to do. The crew members did a great job.

Must do - Kevin and Manuel were really nice and took us exactly where we wanted to go. We wanted quiet and private and that is what we got. The boat was great and I would definitely recommend.

Paradise - If you are looking for a relaxing, secluded gem of a beach book, the private tour to Sabia Hotel in Baru. You are transported by boat to a private family island that is owned and personally operated by Jorge and Maria. They treat you as if you are a part of their family. You are given a large lounging bed by the water, a chef crafted meal, and impeccable service. This island is ideal for couples and families who want to enjoy a beach day with no loud music, vendors, or the noise of the world.

Good boat ride - Overall a nice private boat ride with a good opportunity to see the Rosario Islands and Baru by boat. Pros: - Private boat with Captain and First Mate - Some flexibility in where they take you - Beautiful views - Snorkeling gear included Cons: -Although our tour specified multi-lingual guides, they only spoke Spanish which limited the amount of “tour” information we received. - Drinks and lunch not included - The lunch spot they take you to is a beach club with cover charge and food minimum.

A good time - Wonderful boat trip. Wish that captain and assistant spoke English but they tried their best. A lot of nickel and diming. But also to be expected. We didn’t want the party scene so they respected that. Wanted to snorkel PE plane but sadly it had rained too much so water was too murky. Otherwise we really enjoyed the time on the water

Excellent excursion with hidden costs - Everything was amazing but beware. They took us to a private club and we had to spend a minimum amount on food and drink there. We also were asked to buy the 2 staff people lunch which we didn’t think we could say no to. We also tipped them 15%. In all there were a ton of hidden costs. Also they only had 2 sets of snorkels for our group of 6. You either had to take turns or rent equipment from another boat. The scenery and the boat were incredible tho!!!
