Esteban Alvarez, private tour guide - Esteban Alvarez, bilingual tour guide and taxi driver, gave us a 4 hour tour of the city. Easy to understand, very accommodating, very knowledgeable about the sights. Stopped whenever I wanted to take a photo, found restrooms for us, and took us to a local restaurant for lunch with fabulous food and wonderful Colombian decor. Very reasonably priced.

Alfonso "The Chief " de Avila- Driver and Guide - By pure accident, we met Alfonso de Avila "The Chief " who drove us up to the Convento Santa Cruz de La Popa and all along talked about his country, his people and the history of Cartagena while maneuvering the busy traffic and sometimes crazy Cartagena streets. Alfonso then escorted us and was our guide for La Popa. A man full of knowledge, kindness and love for his country. He quoted us an upfront price for our venture and it was worth every Peso. All this in English ! How lucky for us to meet him! Thank you Alfonso

Our tour of Playa Blanca... - Our tour of Playa Blanca was just OK. Roads were terrible, then a long 15 minute walk to our spot on the beach, then every few minutes someone trying g to sell you something, then the consent smell of gasoline and diesel from all the small boats and motorcycles on the beach. Lunch was great and our tour guide Hillary was fantastic, sorry, would not recommend this tour to anyone.
