• Tayrona National Park - Tayrona National Park, in northern Colombia, is a large protected area that encompasses the slopes of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in areas adjacent to the Caribbean coast. It is known for its coves covered by palm trees, coastal lagoons, tropical jungle and abundant biodiversity. At its center, the Pueblito ruins are an archaeological site accessed through forest trails, with terraces and structures built by the Tayrona civilization.

We will be visiting the Tayrona National Park, located in northern Colombia. This significant conservation area extends over the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, reaching out to the neighboring regions of the Caribbean coast. The park is recognized for its palm-shrouded coves, marine lagoons, tropical rainforests, and rich biodiversity. One can get to it via trails through the woods, sugar cane fields, reefs, and Cabo San Juan del Guia, a territory held sacred and protected by the Tayrona civilization.
