Best Adventure + Pleasure Excursion - This was an absolute adventure and we loved every minute of it! It started off strong with a castle tour learning knowledge and seeing history. Beers available here! Next we stopped at a shallow water island with bathrooms and a chance to sunbathe and get a drink. After this was the party island cholon - which is more of a water to waist with tables and tiki huts around to hang out at. No bathrooms here but drinks available and lots of music! Our 4th stop was to snorkel and it was an stunning reef. We saw a family of little squid!! And lots of other gorgeous fish. Next boat ride took us to the island of Baru, our favorite spot. We had great food and enjoyed the beach and then the sunset. I had a chance to get a massage here and a take a walk along the beach. After the sunset a new boat picked us up and we went with a few other people to see the glowing plankton in the evening. This part was largely physical to get in and out of the boat and back to the bus shuttle area, but so worth it to see the glowing green under the water and the twinkle stars above you. Our trip was made especially imapctful because of our wonderful your guides Jose and Angel. Our boats driver was incredible at his career and very safe. Made our ride the least bumpy. From begining to end they were all fun, hospitable, and knowledgeable. Angel spoke exceptional English for those who needed it and played fun music. And our booking hosts Asia and Diego were very helpful with emails and what's app messages to confirm everything the days before and morning of in both English and Spanish, and they were always available for any questions we had.

A wonderful day on the beach! - Amazing food and service the entire time! From the moment we were picked up from our hotel to the moment we got dropped off we were given great service with a positive attitude. The driver Pedro and the tour guide Valentina were very professional and ensured that we had a great time!

A fun day overall with great guides - My 4 star review is an average of a few aspects of the trip: 5 stars: our boat captains and our guide, Daniel! He was so amazing, high energy, and kept everyone informed of what our trip would consist of. We had some problems with the boat and had to switch boats and he and the 2 captains dealt with this expertly. He was knowledgeable about each island and made the experience on the boat very fun with music and shots of rum. 🍹 3 stars: we booked the Plankton experience but found out that we would have had to wait alone on the last island for 2 hours to do that experience and then they would bring us back to Cartagena by bus (not boat) arriving at 9:30 pm. This should have been clearly explained in the trip description, so because we weren’t comfortable with that scenario we didn’t do the plankton experience but we paid for it. I hope others see this and know this before deciding to do plankton experience. Also, they advertise 5 islands but you may not get off boat at all of them, one is just to snorkel at. Lunch is served late, like almost 3pm-make sure to bring snacks or eat a big breakfast. Lunch was very good though. There are vendors at the lunch spot-wish they would ask them not to come to the table (beach area is fine, we expect vendors there) it made it hard to eat in peace after a long day on the boat. Boat isn’t shaded for everyone, make sure to bring a hat with a chinstrap, long sleeves, and lots of sunscreen and plenty of water.
