Varied and diverse day in and around Tunis - Interesting day - varied and diverse. We started in Tunis Medina - would have liked more time wandering through the Medina to take it all in but as we had a full day's itinerary then we appreciated that it was a tight schedule. We were taken to several shops - no hard sell - and one which had a rooftop view with stunning views across Tunis. Then onto Bardo museum. Our guide took us through the stunning mosaic rooms at a fair pace and it occasionally seemed rushed, but we had 15 mins free time at end too, and think we saw most rooms. We missed out a lunch stop - our choice (bring snacks)- so we could continue to Carthage. Tunis traffic is heavy so we wanted to maximise our time there. The sight is extensive and you can't fit it all in but we saw about 5 different areas, which was great- some simply a drive by, but that was fine. Last stop of day was fabulous - even though it rained - a stroll through the blue and white town of Side Bou Said; beautiful. Again not much time to relax, but it's a heavy jam packed day, so understandable. Our guide was knowledgeable and kept up the pace. Our driver was careful and coped well with Tunis static traffic ! Overall a great experience and well worth it. If you have particular sights that you want to see in Carthage or the Medina, then tell the guide as we are sure they will accommodate. We would recommend.

Boubou is the best! - Boutheina was a fantastic tour guide. She knew so much information about all the places we visited. I would definitely recommend this tour. Only complaint was trying to find the meeting point as the tour company (Carla) only gave me a link to the meeting spot, but did not specify it was at the gas station, as the coordinates on the map said the meeting spot was down the road. So that’s where we waited for 30min before walking back to the cruise ship to use wifi. Carla said in her email she would send me the tour guide’s name and What’s App but she never did, so it would have been nice to be contacted earlier while on the ship. But apart from that, the tour with Boubou was fantastic. She knows so many people and they all love her and told us we were with the best!

Amazing introduction to Tunis - The Santorini of Tunis was beautiful. There is so much history to explore here as well. My guide, BooBoo, was very knowledgeable of her hometown. She made the experience very enjoyable.

Fantastic one-day tour of Tunis - Incredibly intelligent and efficient guide (Noureddine), who knows as much about Tunisian history and politics as about hotels, restaurants, and best Tunisian street snacks. The Bardo Museum was unexpectedly closed due to nearby political demonstrations, which was a terrible disappointment to me since it was my top site to see & I only had one day to tour Tunis, but guide suggested the American military cemetery instead and it was amazing!

Danish in Tunis. - It was a really good trip, with a good female guide (Buttaina). The guide was ready on time and was friendly and welcoming throughout the trip. She seemed very professional and had great knowledge about Tunisia and history. I was a little disappointed not to come in and see EzZitouna Mosque from the inside. We just went by, which I didn't expect. The tour included display of blankets and perfume, but the sellers accepted if you weren't interested. I was very disappointed to have to pay separately for a regular drink at lunch (1 coke in total). It was small money, but that's the trip for animals to.

Good content great guide but not private tour - Our guide was great and content meaningful and representative of Tunis and Tunisia. On this basis alone 5 of 5 stars. However it was not a private tour as advertized, as a guy from another country joined. As such this was not worth the money. Hence 3 of 5 stars.

A worst ever guided tour - Unorganized and incomplete, arguing over lunch menu, dropping us at the store of cheap gifts. Our tour should have begun at 9. Driver show up after 9.30 and guide after 10.
