Amazing tour with beautiful sights and friendly tour guide - Our tour guide Ali was so professional, warm and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the area and we felt very safe with him. He took us to a great restaurant which had amazing traditional food and took pictures for us throughout. The sites were beautiful and quiet as we went in February. Ali gave us lots of time to explore the area and it was very relaxed! 100% recommend!

Highly Recommend! Great Overview Tour! - This tour was simply amazing. Mohammed was an exceptional guide, committing to meeting all our needs and preferences. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed each of the places we visited but the “surprise” stop at the American military cemetery was very moving (we are American). Sidi Bou Said was a definite highlight; so charming and scenic. And the mosaics at the Bardo Museum were exceptional.

Trip on offer in Tunisia - Learning about the history was great. Roman baths at Carthage is nearly all that is left of the once great Roman city. Sidi Bou Said is a small village where all the properties are painted white with window frames and doors etc painted sky blue. Then onto Medina where all the streets are narrow and a market for tourists. Follow the labyrinthine streets to the Andalousian quarter where you can sample raw perfumes from the supplier of the 4 main houses. Only 20% of which remains in Tunisia. But beware you may come away with more than you wanted or smelling like a whore house with all the sampling you have done.

Ok tour but not detailed enough - Did this tour with a small group on a Sunday as private tours are expensive . Here is my take : The good: guide was okay with detailed though somewhat blinkered view of Tunis history . Granted she has creative license to talk up Tunisian culture . Though she tends to over talk at Bardo, Carthage , Medina Food: Food at the Sidi Boussard was great - fresh and delicious Price: US$85 was quite worthwhile Program- get to see 4 sites in Tunis Not so good: Missed some spots - I can to see Carthage but guide just visited the old port which is essentially taken over by Rich houses and visited the. Bath of Antonius . Never get to visit Carthage city itself with the streets and classism - guess that involves another entrance fee that the guide didn’t wish to pay . Was pretty disappointed about that as I can to Tunisia to learn more about Carthage . Felt shortchanged for that part Medina not open on Sunday - guide said it will be crowded but she really knew that it would be empty as per previous reviews by other guests who used this tour . I find that a little dishonest so I was not impressed by the excuse she gave - Ramadan and Sunday us rest day when she knew .

Not worth it. - This tour could have been better. Advertises lunch but we paid for lunch at an expensive restaurant recommended by the guide. Guide invited himself to the lunch. Carthage was more of a drive around and saw the roman baths from an external boundary wall as probably he did not want to pay for the tickets although included. Sid Boua Said was a self walking tour and was a disappointment. Bardo museum was great but too short. The tour should avoid visits to shops that entice purchasing. Overall was not worth the time or expense.
