You’ll be cheerfully greeted by our pleasant box office staff and led by experienced skippers eager to share the carefully guarded secrets of the region. Occasionally, spotting Dolphins can be an additional treat.

Unforgettable - Unforgettable tour, and extremely cordial and high astral staff. A big hug and our tribute to Alex and Gonçalo, who led the boat of the tour!!!

Beautiful sights with Diogo and Gonçalo - Diogo and Gonçalo (spelling?) took us on a beautiful tour along the coast and m caves of Benagil. Gonçalo's control of the boat is on point; going into the caves you realize this isn't always an easy task: with walls and waves constantly challenging the boat. However, Gonçalo and Diogo kept things running smoothly and we always felt safe. Diogo delivered the information about all the sights in a very funny way and had the whole group laughing. The boat seat was very comfortable even without a backrest and the nearing point in Carvoeiro was easy to find and easily accessible from the nearby parking lot. I would definitely recommend Carvoeiro Caves for your tour of the coastline.

Don't Miss Out On This! - The entire experience was spectacular! Guide Bruno and Captain Tiago added so much to the tour, as they were friendly, fun, and informative!

Scenic great excursion with very nice equipe - Start and finish was Pirtimão, as the beach of Carvoeiro was covered by kelp.
Bruno and the boatmaster Tiago were both very entertaining and explained the great scenery to us well.
Despite light waves Tiago steered the boat very gently through the waves (there was also an about 18 month old toddler on board, that worked out well)

Carvoeiro Caves Excursion - The beauty of the caves and landscape were amazing to behold! Our tour guides, Bruno and Diego, gave excellent commentary and fun, safe passage along the beautiful coast.

Fantastic way to explore Carvoeiro and Benagil caves and - We loved the tour of the grottoes and the cliffs. The boat took us far deeper into the caves than we expected and the ride over was easy and not very choppy. Our captain and guide were great!

Great tour, a certain must see when around - We’ve enjoyed our 90 minutes tour with Carvoeiro Caves very much! The captain and tourguide were more than friendly and informed us about all things to see with enthousiasm and humor.
Our 3 year old daughter (prone to carsickness) enjoyed the ride and didn’t have any seasickness, even though sometimes the boat rocks when you stop to take pictures and listen to the information.
The ride is barefoot, you can leave shoes or flipflops at the beach. Make sure your bag(s) don’t touch the boat-floor, so they don’t get wet.
A ticket-counter on the beach (centro nautico) tried to badmouth Carvoeiro Caves tours, but all for nothing! We’ve had a comfortable and enjoyable ride, I would recommend Carvoeiro Caves Tours!

The Best Cave Tour - The view of the caves are stunning. I wish I could’ve gotten out the boat and explored them on foot but it wouldn’t have been safe or time efficient for the tight 90 minute tour. However, the tour is definitely worth the money as you get to go inside the caves and take amazing pictures, as well as have great banter the tour guides.

Slow down! - We were delighted to take this boat tour with the amazing views and scenery. Two things they should mention before you get on, one is that there is no back support or rails to hold onto especially if your sitting in the middle seats .And two, the speed on the return trip results in an incredible fast and bumpy ride back. The boat was pounding across the water. If anyone has a back or neck issue I would not go. I am a fit middle age woman and I really felt it the neck day as did my 3 younger friends. The price is excellent and the young captain really knew how to handle the boat in the caves but needs to consider the well being of his passengers on the return trip back. Truly a pain in the neck!
