After breakfast, we’ll continue to Rabat to photograph the Hassan Tower, then drive directly to the blue city of Chefchaouen. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
CHEFCHAOUEN TO VOLUBILIS TO FEZ
Volubilis - DAY 6 : CHEFCHAOUEN - VOLUBILIS - FEZ
After breakfast, we’ll depart for Fez via the Rif mountains, visiting the Roman ruins of Volubilis, known as the Versailles of Morocco. We’ll also visit the monuments of Meknes before arriving in Fez. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
FEZ MEDINA
Fez Mellah - DAY 7 : FEZ - HISTORICAL TOUR
After breakfast, the day will be dedicated to exploring Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities, founded by Idriss II. We’ll visit the Mosque of the Andalusians, tanneries, the potters’ district, and the Medina. Lunch will be at a palace in the Medina. In the afternoon, we’ll continue to visit Hispano-Moorish buildings, the Medersas, and Nejjarine.
FEZ TO SAHARA DESERT MERZOUGA
Merzouga - DAY 8 : FEZ - MIDELT - ZIZ VALLEY - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA DUNES :
Wake up early for breakfast. We’ll depart for Midelt through the Middle Atlas, stopping in Midelt for lunch. We’ll continue to Erfoud along the Ziz valley, passing a series of fortified villages that signal the pre-Saharan oases. We’ll arrive at the dunes of Merzouga and stay at a desert camp.
MERZOUGA TO TODRA
Gargantas del Todra - DAY 9 : MERZOUGA - RISSANI - TODRA GORGES
After watching the sunrise, we’ll return to the hotel for breakfast and a shower, then head to Tineghir via Rissani, Erfoud, and Tinejdad, arriving at the Todra Gorges. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
TODRA TO ZAGORA
Zagora - DAY 10 : ZAGORA DRAA OASIS
After breakfast, we’ll drive to the Draa valley to explore the beautiful palm groves in Zagora.
ZAGORA TO OUARZAZATE VIA DRAA VALLEY
Ouarzazate - DAY 11 : ZAGORA .DRAA VALLEY - OUARZAZATE
After breakfast, we’ll depart for Ouarzazate via the Draa valley and Berber villages. We’ll have lunch and continue to Ouarzazate along the famous Sahara road, enjoying views of Kasbahs and ksours.
OUARZAZATE TO AIT BEN HADDOU AND MARRAKECH
Ait Ben Haddou - DAY 12 : OUARZAZATE - AIT BEN HADDOU - OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH
We’ll visit Ouarzazate, founded in 1928 and known as a famous film center where many movies like Babel, Secret of Sahara, The Mummy, and Prince of Persia were filmed. We’ll stop to visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou before continuing to Marrakech, arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in a riad.
MARRAKECH TO ESSAOUIRA
Essaouira - DAY 13 : MARRAKECH - ESSAOUIRA
After breakfast, we’ll depart for Essaouira. Upon arrival, we’ll have a fish lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll tour the city and stroll through the medina of Essaouira, a former Portuguese fort known for its handicrafts, silver jewelry, and inlaid Thuja wood. Dinner and overnight.
ESSAOUIRA TO CASABLANCA
Safi - DAY 14 : ESSAOUIRA - CASABLANCA :
After breakfast, we’ll depart for Casablanca via Safi and El Oualidia, where we can enjoy fish specialties. We’ll continue to El Jadida along the Atlantic coast, arriving in Casablanca.
