- Hassan II Mosque - Day 1: Arrival: Arrive in Casablanca - Welcome to Morocco!! (30 km)
Your two-week adventure in Morocco begins at Casablanca International Airport (Mohamed V). Upon arrival, your private tour guide and driver will greet you and take you to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, you might visit the seaside Hassan II Mosque, the world’s third-largest mosque with the tallest minaret at 210 meters. Designed by French architect Michel Pinseau, the mosque can accommodate 25,000 worshipers inside and 80,000 in the courtyard and surrounding squares. It is one of the few mosques that non-Muslims can enter. Overnight stay at your hotel includes bed and breakfast.
- Kasbah des Oudaias - Day 2: Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen (Blue City) 330 km
Today, we leave Casablanca and head to Rabat, Morocco’s political capital. Here, you’ll visit the Royal Palace and the Hassan Tower, Rabat’s most famous landmark. Built by Sultan Yacoub El-Mansour, who died before its completion, the tower was intended to be 60 meters tall but was abandoned at 44 meters. It would have been the second-largest mosque of its time, after Samarra in Iraq. We’ll also visit the marble Mausoleum of Mohamed V, built in traditional Moroccan style, exuding tranquility.
After lunch at a local restaurant, we continue our journey through the Rif Mountains, enjoying the beautiful landscape until we reach Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” of the North. Overnight stay at your riad includes bed and breakfast.
- Chefchaouen Medina - Day 3: Explore Morocco’s Blue City, Chefchaouen (No Drive)
If you’re familiar with Instagram or Pinterest, you’ve likely seen countless photos of Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous blue city, also known as the “Blue Pearl of Morocco.”
This unique city, located in the heart of the Rif Mountains, offers stunning surrounding landscapes. Once occupied by Spanish Jews and Moors in the 15th century, its architecture is heavily influenced by this history, featuring whitewashed walls, blue doors, and windows. Get your cameras ready because this tranquil and picturesque town is perfect for photography. Overnight stay at your riad includes bed and breakfast.
- Conservation du site Archéologique de Volubilis - Day 4: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes (230 km)
After breakfast, we head to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Spend the morning exploring these 2,000-year-old ruins, featuring beautiful mosaics dating back to the 3rd century BC. Lunch will be in Meknes, one of Morocco’s Imperial cities.
After lunch, your guide will take you on a tour of Meknes’ highlights, including the magnificent Bab Mansour gate, the grandest of all Moroccan imperial gateways. Completed by Sultan Moulay Ismail in 1732, the gate is well-preserved with lavish Zellij and inscriptions. Later, we head to Fes. Overnight stay at your riad includes bed and breakfast.
- Medina of Fez - Day 5: Fes Guided Walking Tour with Local Guide (No Drive)
Today, our local guide will take us on a walking tour of Fes, the spiritual capital and oldest city in Morocco. Most of the tour will be within the Medina, with its narrow alleys and traditional markets (souks). Our guide will ensure we discover sites of cultural and historical interest, such as the famous Al Karaouine Mosque and University, one of Africa’s largest mosques and possibly the oldest university in the world, accommodating up to 20,000 people at prayer.
After lunch at a local restaurant, we visit the Tanneries, one of the city’s most iconic sights where leather is produced. We then stop at the Royal Palace gate, a stunning example of modern restoration. You’ll walk through the Jewish quarter, “the Mellah,” and visit the pottery cooperative. Overnight stay at your riad includes bed and breakfast.
- Ifrane - Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Middle Atlas – Midelt (240 km)
Leaving Fes, we cross the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Ifrane, often nicknamed “Little Switzerland” for its beauty, pseudo-alpine weather, and villas. We’ll drive through the Cedar forest of Azrou and stop to see the Barbary macaques. Along the way, enjoy the spectacle of Berber villages in the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Arrive at your hotel in Midelt in the afternoon for an overnight stay.

Departing from Midelt, we cross the great date-palm valley of Ziz, admiring one of southern Morocco’s most stunning natural views. Upon reaching Erfoud, known as Morocco’s town of fossils, we’ll stop to explore some fossil sites. Arrive in Merzouga early in the afternoon, where your desert adventure begins. The first night will be in a hotel or riad next to the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
- Erg Chebbi - Day 8: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Camel Trekking (20 km)
Today will be one of the highlights of your two weeks in Morocco. We’ll pass by old Berber villages and stop for panoramic views. Visit a nomad family living in a tent in the desert and enjoy a glass of mint tea while learning about their lifestyle.
After lunch at a Berber pizza restaurant, return to your hotel to relax or swim before riding camels into the beautiful Erg Chebbi, enjoying the sunset over the dunes. Notice how the dunes’ color changes as the sun sets. Overnight in your Sahara desert camp includes dinner, a Berber drum show, bed, and breakfast.

Continue to Skoura and the Dades Valley, visiting the well-preserved Kasbah Ameridil.
