Wonderful food and culture experience with a local in Casablanca - We booked the Casablanca Full-Day Food and Cultural Tour with Moroccan Food Tour. Achraf, our guide, was fantastic! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and observant (always lending a helping hand to other tourists and non tourists trying to find their way around the city). We started with a tour of the Hassan II Mosque, which was impressive and beautiful. We paid extra to skip the line for the guided tour, which may not have changed the wait time significantly since we were there early--however, the tour was educational and absolutely worth it. We also visited the panoramic view of Casablanca (near El Hank lighthouse), the medina, Habbous, and passed through other interesting parts of the city. For food and drink throughout the day, we had fresh fruit juice, mint tea, almond pastries, fresh seafood cooked to order at the Central Market (wow!), and tasty sandwiches with chicken and lamb. Everything was delicious. Achraf spent additional time with us to show his favorite spots and the tour wasn't rushed at all. Highly recommend this tour if you want to experience some great highlights of Casablanca with a true local who grew up there.

Excellent food tour and guide - Yesterday my wife and I took a very good 3-hour food tour from Moroccan Food Tour. Our guide was Achraf. He was fantastic - very familiar with the area, knowledgeable about the local food, friendly, helpful, and with a great sense of humor. He went above and beyond taking us to places that we would not have found on our own. In addition to food stops - all very delicious - he took us around the market in the old town. We highly recommend the tour and the our guide..

Fantastic tour, not to be missed - Wow, what a fantastic tour. It wasn't a taste test it was a feast and full of culture. The photos don't show all the meals. I was to busy enjoying the food to take more. It would be one of my favourite tours and would do it again. So do yourself a favour and just do it. Being part of a group of Australian's, Canadian and American's all with different taste buds, we all agree just go.

The Casablanca Food Tour Experience Immerses One in Aspects of the Local Culinary Culture! - Achraf was always polite, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable as he guided us on the food tour. He sought to ensure that each of of us on the tour had an enjoyable experience! We learned much about the culinary aspects of Moroccan life while feeling we were immersed in the everyday life and the daily activities of the local residents, whether it be walking through neighborhoods or in the local marketplace and at a local pastry shop and at a restaurant where we enjoyed a freshly prepared meal and later coffee and a tasty desert. A very worthwhile experience!

So. Much. Yum! - My friend I had an amazing food tour with Achraf. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a deep dive into Moroccan cuisine! My favorite part was going to the fish market and then having our fresh seafood cooked for us at the restaurant outside the market.

Fantastic tour of Casablanca’s markets and a wonderful culinary experience! - Our guide, Youssef, was very knowledgable and we learnt so much about Casablanca, Morocco and, most importantly, its food! We enjoyed the local zaazaa drink and the most fabulous seafood meal, fresh from the market, finishing off with lovely sweets and mint tea. A most memorable day. Thanks!

Casablanca’s amazing food - Achraf showed us a true taste of Casablanca…everything we wanted to try and more! Every item on our wish list was ticked. The fish market was incredible and cooked for you perfectly. Juices and fruits, cakes with mint tea. It was our very first day in Morocco and we had a good feel for it by the end. Achraf was punctual, knowledgeable and courteous. We would highly recommended this tour.

Wonderful Foodie Tour - The start of our tour was far from good. We all expected to be picked up At the port and were not. We were told to take the shuttle into town. It was incredibly frustrating and upsetting and of course last minute exchanges by phone with the guide. Eventually the co rep found us where we were standing and guided us to the shuttle and made arrangements to drop us off where our guide was waiting. Not a great start at all and we had several people on tour that were elderly and didn’t walk well-hence why we booked a driving food tour and NOT a walking tour. After the bad start, we had a wonderful time with Hasnaa. We spent an hour at the Hassan II mosque. While impressive, this was to be a foodie tour, so 30 minutes would have been more than enough. Next was breakfast, amazing. Then a short walk to some tastes in the olive and spice market. Then we walked to the butcher, bought some camel meat which was grilled for us at a restaurant. Same for the fish market. Every stop the service was amazing and clean and Hasnaa was there to help. She was super. At the end, because we were so late starting and had to get back to the ship, some of us went back to the shuttle and others stayed with Hasnaa for some shopping and then she took them back to the shuttle. The tour was great-recommend you pick ur people at the port as advertised, shorten the Hassan visit and leave time for shopping in your special city!

Bait and Switch - we contacted the company and scheduled a tour. It was a total bait and switch. Certain parts were good. But first, we were supposed to be picked up at cruise port…..that didn’t happen and it was a mess trying to find the guide. We walked almost a mile before we found the guide. When we finally found her, she was a subcontractor….not an employee of the company we bought from. She did a good job, but she basically was following orders and didn’t really have the whole program down. Bottom line..find another company to do a similar tour. Oh and another thing, I had contacted the company 3 times in the months before the tour to make sure we had a certain guide(friends had used him) . They said no problem as long as he still worked for the company. Then on day of tour they give me someone who doesn’t even work for them…..no apology, no notice. And I found out he was doing another tour! This company is just not reputable, and we would not recommend.
