A must do for Casablanca - Wissal was such a great teacher and we loved the whole experience with cooking with her. From the initial booking she provided clear directions to her home through to what we wanted to cook and with her explanations and conversation on her life, it was all so interesting and fascinating. The class took place in her beautiful home and she also had a gorgeous selection of traditional clothes for us to try on. We made lamb tagine and cous cous along with 2 salads which was delicious. She was also great in engaging with our daughter who really enjoyed the class. This class is a great idea as an activity when in Casablanca and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

Unforgettable Moroccan Cooking Class Experience in Casablanca - This trip to Casablanca, Morocco was absolutely memorable. The highlight of our visit was the Moroccan cooking class with Wissal. The experience was a surprise from my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which made it even more special. Getting to the location was hassle-free as Wissal had arranged a taxi to pick us up from the hotel. Despite our tardiness, the taxi driver was incredibly patient and understanding. Upon our arrival, Wissal warmly welcomed us and made us feel like part of the family. We instantly connected through conversation, and her excellent English skills made it easy for us to communicate. Our time in the kitchen was enlightening, and I was delighted to have all my questions about Moroccan cuisine answered without any hint of impatience. Under Wissal and her mom's guidance, we learned to prepare traditional Moroccan dishes such as Msemen, Harira soup, Chicken Tagine, Moroccan salad, Lemonade, and the famous Moroccan Green Tea. Although we ran short on time due to our delay, Wissal generously treated us to a selection of Moroccan cookies and pastries to enjoy with the Green Tea we prepared. This culinary adventure will forever be cherished, and I am eager to return to Casablanca to embark on this experience with Wissal again. If you are a foodie or love cooking, this is an experience you cannot miss. Moroccan cuisine has undoubtedly become one of my favorites.

A great night with a luxury menu - My partner and I have always loved Moroccan cuisine and when we saw this activity as an option to complement our trip, we did not think much about it. Everything, absolutely everything was taken care of in detail: Wissal welcomed us at home with open arms, welcomed us warmly and quickly introduced us to the menu and what we could expect from the evening. We prepared 4 courses and she was guiding us in each of the steps, she was telling us about the ingredients and their preparation and at all times we were free to try things or chat with her. During the process he also introduced us to the culture of his country, telling us about traditions or letting us try the national costume. In short it was a sensational experience and the meal we prepared with it was a real show, we had an amazing night and I highly recommend it to anyone who is curious and wants a real immersion in what is Morocco. Wissal is not only a good cook, she is a great hostess and literal who made us feel at home!

An amazing evening with an amazing host - Wissal opened her home to us and welcomed us to an authentic, amazing experience. She is very intelligent, polite, and willing to share all of her life experiences while showing how to cook some of the most delicious food you will find in Morocco. She went above and beyond in explaining the techniques, providing tea and homemade Moroccan biscuits and also helped us arrange transport home - something we were very grateful for in a new city for us. We would highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting the Casablanca area, it is one that my partner and I will cherish the rest of our lives.

Moroccan Cooking Class - The cooking class was fantastic! Wissal was very welcoming, answered all our questions about Morocco, and helped us all along the way. We cooked tagine with chicken and vegetables, couscous, two different types of salads… it was all sooooo good. We also had traditional mint tea with delicious homemade cookies. Wissal even gave us gifts to take back to remember the experience. It was great - I’d recommend to anyone!

Highlight of our time in Casablanca - This experience was everything that we hoped it would be and more. If you want the experience of cooking in the kitchen of a friend (with her mom) who happens to be an expert, this is definitely for you! If you are considering this and are on the fence, book it. You will not regret it. Wissal is friendly, engaging, curious, and a great teacher/coach. Our not-quite-tween was equally engaged and listed this as the highlight of our time in Casablanca. We recommend this experience highly and without reservation. Pro tip: If you need transportation, go with Khalid, her recommended taxi driver. He is friendly, respectful, and on time - and you might have trouble finding her location without him.

We would do this again! - The experience with Wissal was excellent! It felt like we were getting expert cooking tips from an old friend (and her mother). The vibe was relaxed; we were on a schedule but not rushed. The food was excellent, but even more important than that was Wissal's interest in us, our lives, and what brought us to Casablanca. If you are like us and want to have a more engaging (and communal) experience than what you get from a hotel, add this experience to your itinerary. You will not regret it!

Best way to experience Moroccan food! - We had the best time at Wissal’s cooking class! We have been in Morocco for 10 days and the tagine, chicken pastilles and taktouka we made were the best we have tasted. Wissal was very open and shared with us about the country’s history and what it was like living here. She even gave us a recommendation for a tour in Tangier tomorrow. She is a very entrepreneurial 23 year old and cannot recommend her highly enough!
