Something special! - No better way to experience and better understand a day in the life of our beautiful host family. Not only did we learn a sampling of what they eat in a day, but also examples of what each family member is responsible for and how they travel about and what they wear. We made 4 items and took extra cookies back with us to share with others. Delicious! Off the tourist path, our host referred a reputable, fair driver who we were very comfortable with. Our host encouraged us to ask questions about the area and the people. She had a lot of pride with her family and parents and rightly so. She’s a lovely young business woman, smart and very pleasant. Our time there was the highlight of our visit that day! We highly recommend it. We had a city tour included in our cruise and we booked this private excursion for later in the day. They worked with us on time and made sure we were back to the ship in plenty of time. You’ll have time to do both excursions. Enjoy!! Jim, Deb and Carol

An experience not to be missed. You don't have to be a cook to enjoy this activity. - We had a great time cooking and eating. We learnt to prepare easy to replicate Moroccan dishes. We not only learn new recipes but we found out more about Moroccan food preparation and eating habits. This activity was conducted in a family home in a very friendly environment. We had so much to eat that we had to skip dinner.

10/10 - We were received by Khadija and her mother in their family residence. Very nice. Total immersion. They made us put on traditional clothes for tea. Very interesting cultural exchange. We recommend it 100%. Thank you for your welcome.

A lovely afternoon - A really enjoyable afternoon. The teacher was very friendly, spoke very good English and was clearly a very good cook. Together we produced - and ate - a fine selection of delicious pastries, as well as taking a box of them away with us. And we also felt we came away with an insight into Moroccan family life. Some of the recipes we used were family recipes. The teacher's grandmother even came in from a neighbouring apartment to greet us. We would recommend this course to anyone visiting Casablanca who wants to get to know Morocco a bit better.

Baking treats with a new friend - The baking class with Khadija was so delightful! She is friendly and easy going. We spent the day chatting and making four cookies, two crepes and moroccan mint tea. It was like hanging out with a friend and catching up! Don’t hesitate to sign up and get to know this amazing woman, make delicious cookies and treats. *she is on the 3rd floor and not the 5th floor as someone else mentioned

A Great Baking Experience - This is a must do. Kadija is a true baker, having learned at the feet of her grandmother and mother. We learned the techniques of baking for four different cookies/crepes. Kadija is a caterer as well, so these were not your 'usual' cookies -- these were amazing. And then there was lunch served as well! Just a terrific day all around. P.S. English is spoken here as well as Arabic and French, and if you're lucky, as well were, Mom will join you as well! PPS Alert: Kadija's apartment is on the fifth floor of a walkup...

Moroccan family cooking - This is definitely the best pure moroccan family cooking. Khadija and her mom bring extremely ancient recipes and history of the way Moroccans ancestors cooked and preserved food. One of the best highlights are why we are using each spice and which ones combine with others, in addition Khadija tells stories of her grandma who influenced her positively for the love of cooking and sharing a meal over a very nicely decorated round Moroccan table. On top of that, Khadija is very flexible in terms of which plate you are curious about ( the sky is the limit ). I strongly recommend her for people who would like to experience the Moroccan family cooking.

Don’t miss out - best experience in Casablanca! - Our family had the best time cooking and baking with Khadija in Casablanca. She is personable, knowledgeable and has excellent English. She was patient with the kids in our group and also kept the adults busy preparing food. The food was absolutely delicious! When we return, we will definitely do this again. I can’t recommend it enough!
