Exceptional tour operator, driver and guides gave us a true Moroccan experience at a very reasonable price.. - First, Mohamed was truly responsive and helpful from the first inquiry, throughout of 12 day trip and until our return. He was very accommodating when I made a relatively late change in our itinerary. And Said, our driver for the entire trip, was lovely, engaging, informative and attentive ensuring that we were comfortable and all our needs were met (including providing large selections of fruits, nuts and pastries during the drives). In almost all locations, we were provided a local guide, each of which were excellent. Highlights of the trip were hiking through a walnut forest around Imlil in the Atlas Mountains with a local guide and eating at his home, riding camels into the desert and staying overnight, visiting the Barbary Macaques in the cedar forest, the medina in Fez, the blue city of Chefchaouen and a cooking class in Rabat. Moreover, as you drive from place to place, you cannot help but be amazed by spectacular scenery everywhere. The Riads chosen were generally gorgeous and elegant (except the Riad Madu, near Merzouga which was a nice but a boring hotel), Be aware, that Morocco is the size of California so be prepared for some long drives. I would ask Mohamed to detail the driving time each day as you plan your trip. Also, personally I would not spend any time in Marrakesh, except to see the Majorelle Gardens (have Mohamed reserve tickets) and maybe experience the market square one night. It is heavily polluted with diesel exhaust from autox and the thousands of motorcycles that ride through the tiny streets of the Medina (which is full of tourist junk anyway--for a real Medina go to Fez). Also, only visit Casablanca to see and visit the Hassan II mosque the only mosque non-Muslims can visit. We highly recommend Morocco Top Tours, Mohamed and Said if you plan to visit.

Wonderful Morocco - A truly wonderful experience. My wife and I picked Morocco this time -- a good choice for a country that offers diversity of geographic landscapes and architectures, unique culture and delectable food and spices and the warmth and hospitality of the Moroccan people that welcomes you. Weather was perfect --- cooling that made the tour walks, hikes, trek and Sahara Desert camping comfortable and much enjoyable. The itinerary was well planned -- with the right amount of tour time, breaks in between land travels and the "our time - free and easy" to enjoy the intricate architectures and courtyards and peaceful atmosphere of the Riads and Dars in various locations and the hotel in Marrakech. All these memories would not have been etched without the excellent assistance of Mr Mohamed @ Morocco Top Trips. From the initial time of our inquiry when we were still undecided until the day we were back at the comfort of our home, Mr Mohamed has been on the dot; very flexible to customize our itinerary and very responsive to every inquiry and offers much extra information that made us more comfortable as a first time tourist in Morocco ... always checking on us as we moved from one location to another. Our driver, Mohamad, for the entire trip was equally pleasant and conversant, plus all the local tour guides we were paired off, were all knowledgeable and detailed of their tour information and agenda. Not to mention, they all ensure that my wife and I were comfortable and had our preferences as a priority. Thank you thank you very much Mr. Mohamed and your entire team for making this holiday truly special and memorable for us.

Amazing Moroccan vacation - We just came back from an amazing and memorable vacation from Morocco - and the wonderful experience would not have been possible without the assistance and execution of Mr. Mohamed and his team of Morocco Top Trips! Mr. Mohamed was very responsive from the initial stage when were still inquiring about their services all the way when we landed back at our home here in Singapore. The 13 day trip was very pleasant, smooth and personalized. Our driver/guide, Mohamad. was very attentive and took the initiative to provide assistance in little needs like arranging to have our walking shoes fixed and getting proper containers for the bags olives we plan to bring home. We were also spoiled with knick knacks like a basket of variety of nuts and fresh fruits for the long drives. Mr. Mohamed was also very kind to arrange an authentic Moroccan dinner and provide a birthday cake to celebrate my husband's birthday - it made the occasion truly special! Thank you Morocco Top Trips for an amazing Moroccan experience!

Exceptional Tour experience - Look no Further if you want an absolutely amazing trip around Morocco. My husband and I recently went on a private tour and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our guide Said was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel at ease from the start. Not only was he well-informed about the locations we visited, but he also shared fascinating stories and insights that brought each destination to life. His passion for the area was evident. Said and Mohamed (the Agency manager) went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. The trip was very well organized and efficient, allowing us to maximize our time, despite its short duration. These guys managed the itinerary in an excellent manner, enabling us to truly enjoy the beauty of Morocco. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the country with an expert guide who genuinely cares about his guests!

12 night private tour - My husband and I enjoyed a private tour with Morocco Top Trips. We started off in Casablanca, followed by Chefchaouen (Blue City), Fes, Sahara Desert, Dades, and Marrakech. The service we received was outstanding. Our guide/driver, Said, was extremely attentive to our needs. When I mentioned, I wanted to try a Hammam and massage, he found a very reasonable priced option (for tourists) and provided rides even though it was during evening hours. The highlight of our trip was the Sahara desert. Riding the camels and watching the sunset in the dunes was truly amazing. We did get an upgraded hotel package. The hotels were beautiful, clean and comfortable. It was very easy working with Mohamed- the tour organizer. He was always quick to answer questions. One thing to mention, unrelated to the tour company, is that it’s important to make sure you have plenty of Moroccan cash. Most places don’t take credit cards.

The exquisite attention of our guide made us feel at home, accompanied by the perfect driver for the Sahara in a 4x4. Amazing tour, amazing driver, unforgettable experience - Sahara tour is totally amazing. After I compare different agencies, I have chosen Top Trips. It’s a very responsible agency. The hotel, sightseeing sites, and food, are great. Most importantly, our driver Mohamed is fantastic. The car is a fancy van (Benz). He gave us a lot of care and told us a lot about Moroccan culture. He is on time and never pushes us to any stores or buy anything. Sahara desert luxury camp is nice as well, you can see starry sky. There is a private bathroom. Finally, I would recommend this tour for those who want to experience Sahara with a reasonable budget and fantastic service.

An Adventure to Remember - As USA TODAY’s First Road Warrior of the Year, I travel a lot---mostly for business. But when business takes me to the far ends of the earth, I always try to take advantage of the opportunities that the areas offer. Our recent trip to Morocco was no exception. We arrived into the Port of Casablanca with Semester at Sea’s ship the MV World Odyssey. My husband and I are faculty members this Fall semester. Some of the students were taking a field program to the Atlas Mountains and the Desert and I found a trip I thought was worth booking that seemed to be similar without having to share a bath with others in the Desert. Having recently been on a boat with 35 other people to tour the Elafiti Islands near Dubrovnik, we decided a “private experience” would be much more appropriate for us. Looking online, I found a three-day/two-night trip from Marrakech. Getting to Marrakech was a real adventure all by itself; due to an accident on the tracks the day before we were scheduled to depart, the trains were not running. Fortunately, ONCF, Morocco’s national railway, was running buses from the train station in Casablanca to the train station in Marrakech. Sadly, they took advantage and charged almost three times as much for the bus than it usually costs. The bus trip was also not nearly as pleasant as the train would have been. We arrived in Marrakech the afternoon before so that we would be there for the beginning of our three-day adventure. Our driver Mohamed arrived early to pick us up---always a good sign! We began our adventure by visiting the first of many “panoramas;” in the US, we call them “lookouts;” they are spots for taking great photos. Some might perceive the Atlas Mountains as lots of piles of uninteresting rocks. Instead, my husband and I were fascinated by the many different types and subtle color differences in the sedimentary rocks. The souvenir salesmen will sell you a wide variety of (mostly genuine) fossils from the area and a polished agate plate will cost you less than USD$5 if you are good at bargaining. From start to finish, this trip was a memorable adventure. From Mohamed, our driver who is a real Berber to the hotel built into the mountain decorated with original art (painted by the General Manager) to the camel ride through the Sahara Desert to the luxury desert glamping (glamorous camping) experience (see photos), this was a travel experience we will remember forever. Our driver Mohamed did a masterful job of handling the hairpin turns and switchbacks throughout the trip across the Atlas Mountains. (If you suffer from altitude sickness as I do, try to sleep through that part.) Not only was he a good driver, but he was full of information and stories about his youth spent living in a tent with his Berber nomad family, traveling by camel every other day with the other male members of the family to take a shower, and learning skills like taking care of camels (really dromedaries---one hump versus two). In Berber country, the first night we stayed at the Panorama Hotel in Dades. Not only were the views spectacular, but the original paintings covering the walls added real local color to the common spaces as well as the rooms. The room is basic; however, the bed was excellent, and the shower had good water pressure. As seniors, we have seen many places and enjoyed many experiences. We expected The Camel Trek to be a highlight of the trip. For us, it was exciting, frightening, and painful. What I discovered was that being on one of the first couple camels is important; that should have meant that the animal was strong enough to carry me, but every time we went downhill, I felt like I was going to fall off. Plus, I could not get comfortable on the saddle. Though I am happy that I rode a camel once and I really like the picture I took (see the attached picture), I would never do it again---unless someone invented a much better saddle and I was on a strong camel. Fortunately, there is an option to ride in a 4X4 SUV which is also a lot like an amusement park thrill ride. Next time, I will opt for the 4 X 4. The second night, we chose to pick the luxury accommodations in the desert at The Sahara Luxury Resort. And that was an excellent choice (see the enclosed picture). Again the bed was excellent and having a private bath was part of the bargain. What I did not expect was to have a marble bath with a huge shower in the desert! Mohamed also took us to a store that sold high-quality clothing and Berber decorations. They began by dressing me as a Berber bride (see the photo). I bought an outfit for camel-riding that I like very much: a tunic and some pants. I felt like I should have bargained more with the people, but there was a value to the extra time they took with me and the costumed photo. One last thing, I always encourage travelers to book direct with airlines, hotels, and tours---when you can; it gives you more flexibility, and sometimes, like in the case of the hotel I am staying in here in Salvador, Brazil, there are extra goodies. All in, this three-day, two-night opportunity for adventure travel in Morocco was a string of unforgettable experiences.
