Highlights
  • Hassan II Mosque - Day 1: Arrival: Arrive in Casablanca - Welcome to Morocco!! (30 km)

Your two-week adventure in Morocco begins at Casablanca International Airport (Mohamed V). Upon arrival, your private tour guide and driver will greet you and take you to your hotel.

Depending on your arrival time, you might visit the seaside Hassan II Mosque, the world’s third-largest mosque with the tallest minaret at 210 meters. Designed by French architect Michel Pinseau, the mosque can accommodate 25,000 worshipers inside and 80,000 in the courtyard and surrounding squares. It is one of the few mosques that non-Muslims can enter. Overnight stay at your hotel includes bed and breakfast.

  • Kasbah des Oudaias - Day 2: Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen (Blue City) 330 km

Today, we leave Casablanca and head to Rabat, Morocco’s political capital. Here, you’ll visit the Royal Palace and the Hassan Tower, Rabat’s most famous landmark. Built by Sultan Yacoub El-Mansour, who died before its completion, the tower was intended to be 60 meters tall but was abandoned at 44 meters. It would have been the second-largest mosque of its time, after Samarra in Iraq. We’ll also visit the marble Mausoleum of Mohamed V, built in traditional Moroccan style, exuding tranquility.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we continue our journey through the Rif Mountains, enjoying the beautiful landscape until we reach Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” of the North. Overnight stay at your riad includes bed and breakfast.

  • Chefchaouen Medina - Day 3: Explore Morocco’s Blue City, Chefchaouen (No Drive)

If you’re familiar with Instagram or Pinterest, you’ve likely seen countless photos of Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous blue city, also known as the “Blue Pearl of Morocco.”

This unique city, located in the heart of the Rif Mountains, offers stunning surrounding landscapes. Once occupied by Spanish Jews and Moors in the 15th century, its architecture is heavily influenced by this history, featuring whitewashed walls, blue doors, and windows. Get your cameras ready because this tranquil and picturesque town is perfect for photography. Overnight stay at your riad includes bed and breakfast.

  • Conservation du site Archéologique de Volubilis - Day 4: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes (230 km)

After breakfast, we head to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Spend the morning exploring these 2,000-year-old ruins, featuring beautiful mosaics dating back to the 3rd century BC. Lunch will be in Meknes, one of Morocco’s Imperial cities.

After lunch, your guide will take you on a tour of Meknes’ highlights, including the magnificent Bab Mansour gate, the grandest of all Moroccan imperial gateways. Completed by Sultan Moulay Ismail in 1732, the gate is well-preserved with lavish Zellij and inscriptions. Later, we head to Fes. Overnight stay at your riad includes bed and breakfast.

  • Medina of Fez - Day 5: Fes Guided Walking Tour with Local Guide (No Drive)

Today, our local guide will take us on a walking tour of Fes, the spiritual capital and oldest city in Morocco. Most of the tour will be within the Medina, with its narrow alleys and traditional markets (souks). Our guide will ensure we discover sites of cultural and historical interest, such as the famous Al Karaouine Mosque and University, one of Africa’s largest mosques and possibly the oldest university in the world, accommodating up to 20,000 people at prayer.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we visit the Tanneries, one of the city’s most iconic sights where leather is produced. We then stop at the Royal Palace gate, a stunning example of modern restoration. You’ll walk through the Jewish quarter, “the Mellah,” and visit the pottery cooperative. Overnight stay at your riad includes bed and breakfast.

  • Ifrane - Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Middle Atlas – Midelt (240 km)

Leaving Fes, we cross the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Ifrane, often nicknamed “Little Switzerland” for its beauty, pseudo-alpine weather, and villas. We’ll drive through the Cedar forest of Azrou and stop to see the Barbary macaques. Along the way, enjoy the spectacle of Berber villages in the Middle Atlas Mountains.

Arrive at your hotel in Midelt in the afternoon for an overnight stay.

  • Erfoud - Day 7: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga (230 km)

Departing from Midelt, we cross the great date-palm valley of Ziz, admiring one of southern Morocco’s most stunning natural views. Upon reaching Erfoud, known as Morocco’s town of fossils, we’ll stop to explore some fossil sites. Arrive in Merzouga early in the afternoon, where your desert adventure begins. The first night will be in a hotel or riad next to the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

  • Erg Chebbi - Day 8: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Camel Trekking (20 km)

Today will be one of the highlights of your two weeks in Morocco. We venture deep into the Moroccan Sahara Desert, with its golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi stretching over 28 km from north to south and reaching heights of 160 meters. We’ll pass by old Berber villages and stop for panoramic views. Visit a nomad family living in a tent in the desert and enjoy a glass of mint tea while learning about their lifestyle.

After lunch at a Berber pizza restaurant, return to your hotel to relax or swim before riding camels into the beautiful Erg Chebbi, enjoying the sunset over the dunes. Notice how the dunes’ color changes as the sun sets. Overnight in your Sahara desert camp includes dinner, a Berber drum show, bed, and breakfast.

  • Todgha Gorge - Day 9: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley (230 km)

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise. After breakfast in the camp, we head to the Dades Valley. On the way, visit the charming city of Rissani, where the Alaouite dynasty was founded. Explore its traditional souk, divided into sectors for dates, vegetables, spices, animals, cloth, and crafts. Continue to Todra Gorge, where we’ll have time to explore.

After lunch, head west towards the Dades Valley to see majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes.” Overnight stay at your hotel overlooking the lush Dades Valley includes dinner, bed, and breakfast.

  • Ouarzazate - Day 10: Dades Valley – Skoura Oasis – Ouarzazate (140 km)

After breakfast, we drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is known as the “way of the thousand kasbahs,” offering numerous photo opportunities. We’ll stop at Kalaa M’gouna, “the rose city,” to purchase rosewater. Continue to Skoura and the Dades Valley, visiting the well-preserved Kasbah Ameridil. After lunch, enjoy some hiking in the valley before continuing to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa” for its geography and landscapes that attract world-class movie producers. Overnight stay at your riad includes dinner, bed, and breakfast.

  • Ait Ben Haddou - Day 11: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - High Atlas - Marrakech (200 km)

After breakfast, we head to Marrakech through the old caravan routes and the High Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Built in the early 20th century by T-hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains, it was a stop during his travels from sub-Saharan countries to Marrakech and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Continue to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains with its beautiful views and remote Berber villages. Stop for panoramic views along the way until we reach the colorful Marrakech. Overnight stay at your riad includes bed and breakfast.

  • Marrakech - Day 12: Marrakech Tour with a Local Guide (No Drive)

After breakfast, your local guide will meet you at your riad for a private tour of Marrakech’s most interesting monuments, including the 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque. Its 225-foot minaret dominates the Marrakech skyline and can be seen from almost every corner of the city.

Marrakech is home to beautiful palaces, such as the 19th-century El Bahia Palace, featuring Andalusian and Moorish architecture, a trapezoidal garden, a huge tiled courtyard, and many hidden antique treasures.

After lunch, visit the Djemaa El-Fna, Marrakech’s main square and open-air theater. Enjoy the lively atmosphere with snake charmers, henna tattoo artists, musicians, and more. Overnight stay at your riad includes bed and breakfast.

  • Essaouira - Day 13: Marrakech – Essaouira (190 km)

After breakfast, we head to the coastal town of Essaouira. Discover the Skala fortress, the harbor, and the souks. Learn about Essaouira’s specialization in processing and cutting Thuya wood by craftsmen. Walk through the medina’s alleys and explore the Mellah, the Jewish quarter. Enjoy the wide, golden sandy beach, known for its strong winds, attracting surfers from around the world. Essaouira, also called the “City of the Winds,” has a rich history influenced by various civilizations, including the Portuguese. Its blue doors and washed walls make it Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic.” Overnight stay includes bed and breakfast.

  • El Jadida - Day 14: Essaouira - Casablanca (350 km)

Enjoy a free morning at Essaouira beach. Take a walk, watch the windsurfers, or explore more of the medina before returning to Casablanca. Enjoy a scenic drive along the coast, stopping in seaside towns like Safi and El Jadida. Arrive in Casablanca around 5-6 pm.

11/10 trip - Truly a spectacular trip. I went with a friend on the full tour of Morocco and I do not think I will be able to travel internationally the same way again. Our guide, Ismael, went above and beyond in every way. We did not have to worry about a single thing the entire trip as he took us to the best places around the country. All of the riads we stayed at exceeded our expectations. We were set up with local guides (included in the price) in cities like Fes and Marrakesh that did an amazing job as well. Ismael was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the areas we went. He was also very accommodating to our needs if we wanted to alter the trip in any way. This was easily the best trip I have ever been on and I can't wait to visit Morocco again!

A trip of a lifetime - This tour company did a wonderful job orchestrating our family trip to Morocco. This included myself, wife and 2 daughters attending University. They made sure we hit the classic highlights of Morocco including Casablanca, Marrakesh, Chefchouen, Desert Luxury Camp, Fez and Rabat. Our driver was an amazing host and was with us the entire trip. He was remarkable in terms of teaching us about the country, the sites and the culture. Our travel agency and our driver made quick adjustments to our trip based on our preferences which was appreciated. Most of our accommodations were 5 stars quality riads. We enjoyed the luxury/premium desert camp. This included an hour long camel ride to the camp, luxury camp accommodations/cuisine, and perhaps the best part--- a desert dune ATV experience. We also enjoyed visiting the souks and medinas in Marrakesh and Fez-- which are unique experiences.Would definitely recommend them to take you around the beautiful country of Morocco.

Wonderful adventure - The ride from Casablanca was great. The driver happily answered all our questions and made the trip great. Our tour of the Marrakesh market was wonderful. The camping experience was comfortable and beautiful. My absolute favorite part was the dinner at the camp. There was a live band and wonderful food. Everything went well and we were treated very well. Highly recommend!

African Adventure of a Lifetime!! - Ismail & Enjoy Desert Tours truly gave my group an experience like no other!! I arrived in Morocco excited, but a little nervous, and eager to get the adventure started. Ismail immediately made us feel safe, at home, and welcome in Morocco. I had even reached out to Ismail beforehand, as I had a serious peanut allergy and wanted to make sure our adventure would be safe food wise. Ismail went out of his way to ensure food was safe every single step of the way—no details left unnoticed. His love, sense of humor, stories, and adventurous personality truly brought this desert adventure together. Not to mention, the Moroccan desert is a piece of the world that you have to experience. Ismail’s dunes, located near his hometown, ensured an authentic and incredible experience. I could not recommend this trip higher!!

Beautiful stay in the desert - It was so beautiful to stay one night in the desert. The accomodation was soo comfortable and the bed was the best I ever slept in. The ffod was great and almost too much :D we did a ride on a camel which was pretty cool. And the sunrise in the morning was also beautiful as well as the vastness of the desert. I would definitely recommend it! I was not there during Corona times so I do not know anything about the hygiene rules there but I am sure that they are doing a wonderful job protecting everyone.

Amazing experience!!! - We loved this tour! We actually stayed 2 days and 2 nights and I would really recommend it, if you have time off course, cause desert is something really special during the day and night as well. Ayoub was amazing tour guide, especially when we did a jeep adventure and we visited nomad family, village school, did hiking in the nearby mountain where locals search for fossils, we ate homemade food in a local restaurant and learned a lot about the area from Ayoub’s stories. In the evening we enjoyed nice performances under the beautiful sky full of stars. The food in the camp was excellent, the room was clean and bed was cosy. I would recommend this camp and Ayoub.

Magical tour of Morocco - Ismael took my husband and I on an amazing tour of Morocco during the month of October. It was really one of the best experiences of my life. The beauty and majesty of the land will stay with me forever. Each place we visited was it’s own awesome adventure. The people of Morocco are the most heart centered people I’ve ever met. I love Morocco! If you were to take this journey you would enjoy landscapes of all different types. One of the best experiences was going on a camel through the Sahara desert, camping out in the night and having an authentic Berber meal under the stars.
