Casablanca - Your 5-day trip begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Casablanca, followed by a drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco.
Rabat - Rabat city tour begins at Dar El Makhzen, the Royal Palace, with a stop to admire the exterior.
The palace houses the prime minister’s office, the Imperial College, the Ahl Fas mosque, a small racetrack and the barracks of the Black Guard.
See the Mohamed V University and walk past the Hassan Tower. Visit the Mohamed V Mausoleum and marvel at the tiles decorating the walls of the burial chamber.
Continue on to the Kasbah. Walk along the Rue des Consuls, the architecturally most interesting street. Browse the shops lining Souika Street, the busiest shopping street in Rabat’s medina.
Meknes - Finally, delve into the imperial city of Meknes, strolling through its vibrant medina, admiring the grand Bab Mansour gate, and discovering the city’s rich history. Immerse yourself in the cultural tapestry of Morocco on this unforgettable day trip.
Fes - After your arrival in Fes, you will spend the night in a traditional Moroccan riad.
Guided visit of Fes
Fes - We dedicate the day to explore the Highlights of Fes city with a local guide. The city is considered one of the imperial cities, besides being the cultural and religious center of Morocco.
Firstly, we start the day by visiting the Royal Palace gate. Then the well preserved medieval Medina, that is listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. You will visit the Blue gate or Bab Boujloud, the entrance of the old Medina. Which appears to be labyrinth of alleyways and streets. You will enter the Medina to visit The Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine fountain, the Tanneries. And finally the Quaraouin mosque and university, the oldest university in the world. After that, we leave the Medina to visit the Jewish quarter also known as “the Mellah”. Then, we drive to an ancient fortress for panoramic view of the Medina and the city of Fes. Finally, return to your Riad.
Fes – Ifran – Merzouga
Fes - After breakfast, we will depart Fez in the morning and make our way to Merzouga.
Ifrane - On the route, we will pass through the breathtaking Middle Atlas Mountains and make pit stops in Ifrane and Azrou. Both are famous for their cedar trees and the Barbary Macaques that can be seen there.
Merzouga - After that, we will continue to Midelt for lunch, after which we will continue driving through the breathtaking Ziz Valley on our way to Merzouga. After arriving at this point, we will ride camels into the Sahara Desert to our desert camp. There, we will spend the night and have a traditional Berber dinner beneath the stars.
Merzouga - Todra - Dades - Ouarzazate
Merzouga - In the morning, we will get up bright and early to watch the sun rise over the dunes, and then we will ride camels back to Merzouga.
Todra River - After breakfast, we board a vehicle and drive to the Todra Gorge to explore the local sights.
Dades Gorges - We explore the Dades Valley, then the Valley of Roses and the Kasbah of SKoura .
Ouarzazate - Explore the picturesque town of Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco”, where we visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Film Studios.
Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech - Casablanca
Ait Ben Haddou - Explore the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, which has famous scenery.
Tizi n Tichka - After that, we will continue our trip to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Marrakech - We are scheduled to arrive in Marrakech at lunchtime, and we will explore the Medina once we are there.
Casablanca - We will transfer you to Casablanca.
