CASABLANCA - RABAT - MEKNES - VOLUBILIS - FES

Casablanca - Embark on a brief sightseeing tour of the legendary Casablanca. Then, proceed to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, to explore the lively Medina (old city) and the minaret of the Hassan Tower.

Rabat - The tour will also cover the Mohammed V Mausoleum, the impressive and evocative Oudayas Kasbah, and the Mechouar ramparts surrounding the Royal Palace. Afterwards, depart for Meknes, the imperial capital at the end of the 17th century.

Volubilis - Visit the remarkable Roman ruins of Volubilis, featuring mosaics and temples. From there, continue to Moulay Idriss, the cliff-top holy city of Islam.

Fes - Finally, arrive in Fes for check-in at your hotel or riad.

FES CITY TOUR

Fes - Journey through the far reaches of Morocco’s eastern perimeter, nearing 20km from Algeria’s border, where the magnificent Erg Chebbi dune landscape awaits. Morocco’s most renowned Saharan dune is breathtaking and soul-stirring. On foot or camelback, choose to venture into the remote dunes to reach your Nomadic-style camp hidden within. An evening sunset climb to one of the higher dunes is customary, followed by dinner, and perhaps a campfire experience with Berber songs and storytelling can be arranged.

FES - MIDELT - ERFOUD - RISSANI - MERZOUGA SAHARA DESERT AND CAMEL RIDE

Ifrane - Today, the Morocco journey continues towards Ifrane, through hills adorned with forests of cork oak and giant cedar, home to a few Barbary apes.

Midelt - After lunch in Midelt, head south to Erfoud and Rissani, a vast oasis with over six million palm trees, bordered by numerous ksours. Continue along a striking route marking the transition to desert, reaching Merzouga.

Merzouga - Be welcomed with a glass of tea. Relax, then prepare to ride camels into the pink sands of Morocco’s highest dunes. Enjoy time to explore the dunes before sunset. Dinner is served, followed by traditional music and an overnight stay in a nomad tent.

MERZOUGA SAHARA DESERT - RISSANI – TODGHA GORGE - DADES GORGES

Merzouga - Rise early to witness the sunrise spectacle, where the color of the dunes combines with the play of shadows to create an awe-inspiring sight. After breakfast, ride the camels for a couple of hours before departing for Tinghir and Todra Gorges for lunch.

Gargantas del Todra - The road traverses Tinejdad and the Todra Valley. This stunning area offers numerous walking opportunities, such as along the river through the gardens or up the road on the opposite side of the gorge.

Boumalne Dades - Later, continue to the Dades Valley and the Dades Gorges before spending the night in a hotel.

DADES GORGES - OUARZAZATE - AIT BENHADDOU - TIZI N’TICHKA - MARRAKECH

Vallee Des Roses - After breakfast, travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is known as the way of the thousand kasbahs, offering numerous opportunities to capture some of the best photographs of the trip.

Ouarzazate - Explore the valley of roses and the cinema city of Ouarzazate, passing by Ait Benhaddou Kasbah.

Ait Ben Haddou - Discover the largest Kasbah in Morocco, then proceed to cross the high Atlas Mountains, offering panoramic views and charming Berber villages all along the way to Marrakech.

Marrakech - Conclude the Morocco Sahara tour with a professional travel company in Marrakech.
