The Duca di Salaparuta Wineries invite you to uncover the secrets of a passion that has endured for centuries. This journey began in 1824, when Giuseppe Alliata, a Sicilian nobleman and visionary pioneer, chose to bottle a white and a red wine inspired by the elegance of French varieties, following the abolition of feudal privileges.

Guided by experts, visitors will wander through the historic barriques and barrels, where the esteemed Duca di Salaparuta wines mature, leading to the sophisticated wine bar, where wine takes center stage.

While tasting five selected wines, guests will explore the essence of the Sicilian terroir, with a special emphasis on the island’s iconic grape varieties: Grillo and Nero d’Avola.

Within our modern wineries, a story of passion, challenges, and a profound connection with nature and the Sicilian landscape is shared, enhancing appreciation for wine and its remarkable journey from vine to glass.
