• Casa Villa Margherita - On this tour, we will delve into the city’s history, tracing its roots back to the ancient Elymians and the Mafia families. Michael Corleone’s character was inspired by Giuseppe Bonanno, affectionately known as Joe Banana in the USA. Born in Castellammare, he rose to power after the Castellammarese Wars in New York, contending with Marazano, also known as Little Caesar, the boss of bosses, who was also from Castellammare and modeled his Mafia strategies on Ancient Roman practices and traditions. Joe Banana was one of the few Mafia leaders who died of old age in his bed in Arizona. He authored the book Men of Honor. We will explore the ancient Greek myths surrounding Mount Inici and identify the esoteric symbols of Sicily, including the significance of the triangle, the sacred geometric shape, the symbol of the Sicilian trinacria, and other alchemical symbols found in this village. Additionally, I will reveal the unique position of Sicily, in relation to our land and Castellammare’s connection to Sicily. We will discuss the possible mystical origins of these Olympians, potentially dating back to the lost continent of Atlantis. Our visit will include the ancient castle built by the Arabs and expanded by the Normans.
