Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable - The most memorable part of my experience was the small town on our way to Provanve. Our guide also went above and beyond to give us great experience. Traffics was a big congested but the guide was able to maneuver through the congestion and still prove us with valuable information about the area driving by. It was an unforgettable experience

David made our day - We had an amazing trip with David , while the lavender fields were cut , he ensured we had a good time and could explore all the places on our pace , he was also happy to answer the 100,000 questions we had :) do recommend

High quality and friendly tour guide - Justin was an amazing guide, it was a beautiful trip and she even helped us with some tips through the rest of our vacation.

The best tours and guides - In addition to the lavender fields that were our destination, they also toured some beautiful valleys and villages, and there was a lot of content. The guides were also good people. It was good to join this tour because it is difficult to drive on the road with many curves.

challenging 11 and one half hour trip. - long day , driver a little crazy, drove too fast on those windy roads. most people got a little carsick, me a whole lot. driver insisted on playing his french music loud and singing along, charming for a little while , then annoying. driver tried to give information about the area but accent was very strong and hard to understand. he also left his window open often which reduced effectiveness of the air conditioning. like I said , the driver tried but I don't think this is the right line of work for him. Definitely need to warn people about highly likely possibility of motion sickness on this tour. the verdon gorge was beautiful and I enjoyed swimming there.

Lavender tour with no lavender - Our tour guide David was amazing. And we enjoyed the gorges and the villages. However, I bought this tour for the lavender field. When we went to see it, all the lavender fields were harvested. I came all the way to Nice in July for this. I should get a refund for this tour.

No lavender fields on the lavender tour! - This tour had absolutely nothing to do with lavender! As you can see from the title, my expectation was that they were still able to find some lavender fields that were still active. Clearly not the case, as all had been mowed down several weeks prior. Additionally, this was billed as a 10 hour tour, which certainly would’ve been long enough. However, I was picked up just after 8 AM and didn’t return to my hotel until 7:15 PM. It was a very long day of mostly uninteresting little villages and some scenery, that ended with a stop at a lake where we had an hour and 15 minutes to go swimming! There was absolutely no mention of swimming in the description of this tour! When the tour guide reached out to me by text to say she was arriving, she asked me if I was bringing my bathing suit and my response was why in the world would I do that? When I told her I wasn’t sure I wanted to go because this wasn’t as advertised, she said that would be OK but there would be no refunds. This was over $100 tour! And to make it worse, I almost had the feeling that they felt I should’ve known better because there weren’t lavender fields at this time of the year. Unbelievable. The area around the lake was absolutely packed with people and it was blazing hot and there was no place to sit in the shade other than on the ground. She originally told us that we would be there about 30 minutes, but when she extended it to an hour and 15 minutes, when half of the group clearly had no interest in going into the water I was baffled! I was about to go sit in the van when someone else suggested she drive us over to a little beach restaurant where we sat in the heat until the time was up. Then we had a 2 hour drive back to Nice. I feel that it was irresponsible for this tour company to advertise a tour to see lavender Fields when this tour had absolutely nothing to do with lavender fields. Had there been other highlights on the trip I might not have been so upset, but I wasted over 11 hours of my last day in niece driving around in a van to places that I wouldn’t have gone 10 minutes out of my way for the most part. Very, very disappointed in this entire experience.

Misrepresented advertising. It’s a scam. - This tour is a scam. Viator should take a closer look on this. I bought this tour hoping to see the lavander fields. I saw reviews the day before that the lavanders had been harvested mid July and yet they are still selling it. I asked the driver when he came to pick us up and he confirmed that there is no lavander blooms anymore. We decided to forego it as I felt I’m really not getting what I paid for which is about $133. And we are a party of 3. I spoke to the local operator by the name of Jennifer to discuss the matter and I got the most rude response. I took the matter to Viator stating it’s a false advertising. Viator despite that denied the request for a refund. I am now appealing the case because I feel that is not right and definitely not a good business practice. I have taken multiple tours with them so I hope that they will be fair. If you refer to reviews on this tour you will see the latest reviews.

Bad experience - Guide/driver did not take us to the lavender factory or to the lake that we were supposed to go to and spend time at. The driver drove well over the speed limit and was honking his horn. At one time we almost had head on collision. He even stopped at a curve to yell at a small RV that was parked on the side. Would NOT recommend taking this tour.

Waste of money (if doing in July) - I have done many trips with Viator and enjoyed it but this tour is a SCAM. While credit to Viator to tell that the fields are open till July 15 but then why have this tour after July 15th. We went at the end of July and it was BARREN land. This was the supposed to be the highlight of the tour but there was nothing. Secondly, this tour is just driving and driving all day just to see a water falls, couple of villages, barren land (Lavendar fields) and then a lake where you have no time to do any kind of water activities. Don't do this tour. Please don't this tour. Finally, our tour guide did not speak a word. He had just moved to France from another country 4 months ago and I probably knew more about the area as part of my research for the vacation. He was a nice guy, friendly and I chatted with him about his life etc but he knew nothing about the area. Do this trip if you are in the area in June maybe but it's waste of money in July.
