Fabulous time - We had a great day with Aleksander, who took us for an epic journey through the beautiful gorge and the many vistas therein. He told us about the history of the various towns and villages along the way, while expertly navigating the narrow and sometimes heavily-trafficked road along the way. The changing landscape was fascinating from the comfort of the van we were in and the stops along the way were interesting and fun for the whole family. The deep cuts through the sedimentary rock and the many different colors thereof were beautiful to behold. By virtue of being a private tour, changes can be made easily. We opted to spend more time in the first village (beautiful!), enjoy a lovely lunch and lavender ice cream, followed by lengthy swimming and a short visit to the lavender fields rather than visiting both villages. But that’s the thing, Aleksander will customize your visit as needed so you come away super happy. We were super fortunate to spend the day with him and to enjoy all the vistas, history, and unique character of the regions we crossed.

Stellar experience from start to finish - My mom and I did a private tour from Nice to the Lavender Fields with Jaba as our tour guide. Simply put, the entire experience was outstanding. Jaba was incredible - a fantastic and safe driver, a kind and thoughtful individual, and a smart and fascinating person to chat with. He was so attentive to our needs and made sure we had a phenomenal time, fully customizing the experience and making sure we got the very best viewpoints at each stop, etc… it was a long, lovely day and certainly a memorable one! The lavender fields were gorgeous (make sure they’re in season before you book), the towns were adorable, and the lake was breathtaking (bring a bathing suit for this part). I would recommend this tour, especially if you are able to get Jaba as your guide! I can’t say enough wonderful things about him.

Tour filled with wonderful memories - We took a tour in the verdon with a guide of french riviera sightseeing tours We loved many explanations she answered all our questions and even organized us the tour so we could enjoy the lake. Thank you again for a wonderful day

South of France lavender proposal - Proposed to my girlfriend on this tour just about a year ago (early July 2023). The lavender fields were in full bloom, it was gorgeous. Took a while to get there but it was worth it. The little town where we had lunch at was also great. Our driver was great and executed my plan perfectly!

Amazing Trip - Our tour guide, Xu Bin was on time and explained everything well. Apart from that, the entire trip was well planned and we get to see lavender fields.

Beauty of Provence - Nice driver, nice spots, nice experience. Not suitable for people who might have sickness from longer ways via car due to mountains roads but we liked the trip!!

Best guide Mathew/ Mat - Our guide Mathew was excellent.Stopped in a lot of photo spots along the way which we would have never known if we drove ourselves. Always checking on us even while driving if everyone ok. We noticed he cares a lot about the environment very knowledgeable. Highly recommended! Made this tour really memorable.

Fun day trip - Ask to rent a boat at the gorgés du verdon! Best part of the day. Can easily skip out on time in the smaller towns and still see everything.

Bad bad bad - I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this tour company. Less than 24 hours before our scheduled tour, Jennifer informed us that it was canceled due to road closures. There was no apology or attempt to accommodate us. Instead, they offered to reschedule the tour for the next day, which was not feasible for our plans. This explanation turned out to be a lie, as we managed to book a last-minute tour with another company for the same sites without any issues. When I requested a refund, the operator said "ok." However, the next day, they still had not officially canceled the tour or issued a refund, even though they claimed they had when I followed up. I had to call Viator support, who cleared it up and issued a refund in minutes. We had been planning this trip for months, and this tour was supposed to be a highlight. It seems likely that they either double booked or had car trouble, but I would have preferred if they had been honest about the reason for the cancellation. The last-minute cancellation was not only frustrating but also deeply disappointing. This company should be removed from Viator to prevent others from experiencing the same hassle. Avoid booking with them unless you're willing to gamble with your vacation plans.
