Sperm whales! - My husband and I were on a small boat with only 4 other passengers plus the captain and his first mate. As we made our way out to sea, I was skeptical of our chances of seeing sperms whales. The first match placed a microphone into the water and we all had a chance to listen to the whales. After traveling a bit further out, we saw so many sperms whales! Although they are not as large or spectacular as the humpback whales, we enjoyed watching them in their watery home.

The captain and his shipmates did a lot to make sure our chances of seeing a whale and/or dolphins were maximized. And - We actually got to see two sperm whales and probably 50+ dolphins played around our boat. . It rained the entire boat ride but this didn’t bother us when we saw the beautiful sea animals. The driver of the boat knew the best places to go and also was in touch with other boats and got updates from them where the dolphins and whales were or had been spotted. He then took us there. There is of course no guarantee but one of the shipmates said they have about an 80% success rate.

Super nice crew, fair to the animals - Just meeeeegaaaaaa, lots of whales seen, super friendly crew, enough distance to the animals so they are not disturbed. I still have tears of joy in my eyes now.

Trip of a lifetime - On the way out, one of the girls asked if I wanted to go to the bow.. so I did and loved it. Fantastic views of the Caribbean Sea and its wildlife. Truly one of the best experiences of my life

Fantastic morning with sperm whales - One of the best days I’ve ever had. To see sperm whales in the wild brought a tear to my eye. We were lucky enough to see 3-4 adult sperm whales and a calf. Didn’t take photos as didn’t want to miss a second. The crew on board were great and gave lots of information on the sea life and St Lucia, and also kept the drinks flowing. The boat was spacious, and there was shade if you needed it. Ideal trip for all ages.

Unmiseable adventure - We got lucky enough to see three different types of dolphins, even a baby dolphin, the crew made the day unforgettable and fun. We loved the rum punch and the information that kept providing. We even had the chance to sit in the front of the boat to watch the animals closer :) I would repeat and recommend.

Thar she blows! - Great, no frills outing. We were concerned not to go onto a "party boat" that might happen across mammals this wasn't so. These guys a serious about what they do. We saw a large pod of Pilot Whales but not lucky enough to see dolphins. We also saw a flock of seabirds catching flying fish. You need patience as its 3.5hrs to catch a few minutes of action. Well worth it though. Wouldn't have missed it.

Coastal trip to the Pitons. - Great sightings of dolphins. No whales:( Crew were friendly. Drinks provided and also an area enclosed from the sun/rain which is good. Music was a bit too loud

Nice cruise but in silence - We didn’t see any dolphins but that’s not why I gave this tour a poor review. It was our first time in St. Lucia and we thought we were going to learn a few facts. We were excited! There was some music and then they handed out drinks. There was so much I could have learned about St.Lucia but the crew did not mention any facts about the island or the type of dolphins that live there. I kept waiting for them to speak. Instead, we sailed in silence. On the way back, I was so bored that I fell asleep. I was disappointed and so was my husband. For $105.00 U.S. each, we expected some dialogue. To the Captain Mike’s crew - please include some informative dialogue in your future tours. It would have been nice to learn, for example, when and how the pitons were formed, what kind of animals are native to St. Lucia, plants and fruits in St. Lucia, the industries that exist in St.Lucia, etc. They could have mentioned the population of St. Lucia and the capital city of Castries and what it is like. This would have made the tour interesting. Next time I board a dolphin cruise I will be asking the crew lots of questions (if they don’t offer dialogue and facts).
