- Cat Ba National Park - Cat Ba National Park, a World Heritage Site and biosphere reserve in northern Vietnam, is the next stop. Upon arrival, the tour guide will assist with entrance tickets and lead a hike starting from the park’s entry. Along the way, there will be short breaks at three peaks: Ang Vat, May Bau, and Ang Phay, perfect for taking photos and enjoying the diverse viewpoints. The hike to Frog Pond takes about 2.5 hours, offering opportunities for bird watching and sightseeing in the primary forest. Frog Pond, the largest freshwater lake on Cat Ba Island, is home to unique Va Nuoc trees and features around 400 islands and 130 small golden sand beaches, creating a stunning natural landscape. This route connects the park center to Viet Hai Village.
- Viet Hai Village - After a 30-minute break, the journey continues to Viet Hai Village, approximately 4 km away. This part of the trek is easier, with mostly downhill and flat paths. Upon arrival, guests will meet the friendly locals living within the National Park and enjoy a delicious home-cooked lunch at a local house. After lunch, there will be a chance to explore the village, which has nearly 100 houses, and try a fish massage in a cool stream or local fish pond. The cycling route from Viet Hai Village to Viet Hai Harbor, about 5 km, is considered the most beautiful for cycling.
- Lan Ha Bay - The boat will stop at a floating house to observe local life on the waters of Lan Ha Bay. Guests can kayak and explore one of the world’s most beautiful bays. On the return trip to Cat Ba Town, there will be a visit to Cai Beo Floating Village, the oldest floating village in Vietnam, with hundreds of houses on the water.
