Hanoi - Cat Ba National Park

Cat Ba - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter at 08:00 to start the journey to Dinh Vu Harbour. A 45-minute high-speed boat ride will then take them to Cat Ba Island, followed by lunch in Cat Ba town.

Viet Hai Village - In the afternoon, there will be a trek to Viet Hai village through Cat Ba National Park, a haven for birdwatching and sightseeing in the primeval forest and at Frog Lake. Along the route, there is an opportunity to spot wild animals and thousands of butterflies, and with some luck, one might see the rare Cat Ba langurs.

Upon arrival, guests will check in at a homestay or eco-lodge, where they will enjoy dinner and spend the night in the tranquil surroundings of Viet Hai.

Day Cruises & Kayaking on Lan Ha Bay

Lan Ha Bay - Breakfast is served at 07:30, followed by a hike to the top of Marine Hill, offering panoramic views of both Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. Then, a cycling trip from Viet Hai Village to the dock, where guests will board a boat for a full-day exploration of Lan Ha Bay. This adventure includes scenic cruising, kayaking through lagoons and caves, swimming in hidden spots, and enjoying a freshly prepared lunch on board. After a day of adventure, there will be a boat ride to Ben Beo floating fishing village, where hundreds of households live on the sea. Dinner and overnight stay at the homestay near Cat Ba National Park.

Cat Ba - After breakfast at the hotel, guests will explore Cat Ba Island, a favorite spot for adventurous tourists. The itinerary includes visiting the military hospital cave and trekking to Ngu Lam Peak for a glimpse into the island’s history, or driving around the scenic roads of Cat Ba. Midday, lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant before returning to Hanoi by bus in the afternoon, arriving in the evening.
