Old Quarter - 7:00-7:30. Hotel pick-up in Hanoi Old Quarter area and departure to Cat Ba Island via Expressway. The journey takes approximately 3.5 hours.

Cat Ba National Park - 11:30. Arrival at Ben Beo pier on Cat Ba Island. This pier serves both fishermen and tourist boats visiting Lan Ha Bay, located just 2km from the town. 12:00-12:30. Pick-up at Ben Beo harbor and transfer by fast canoe to our charming homestay in Viet Hai village. The village is situated on Cat Ba Island, about 10 kilometers from Cat Ba town, nestled in the heart of Cat Ba’s jungle, surrounded by lush forests, mountains, and picturesque scenery. Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese meal. Afternoon. Follow our tour guide for trekking and hiking at Navy Peak to get an overview of Cat Ba National Park. If time permits, climb to the mountain’s summit for a panoramic view of Lan Ha Bay, Halong Bay, and Cat Ba National Park. 18:30. Savor a local dinner at our restaurant.

Lan Ha Bay - 18:30. Enjoy a local dinner at our restaurant. Afterwards, our tour guide will take you on a night-time kayak tour on Lan Ha Bay to witness the sparkling bioluminescent plankton and observe local village activities at night. Overnight at our homestay!

Viet Hai Village - Discover Lan Ha Bay Full Day by Boat - Hanoi (B, L)

Viet Hai Village - 7:30. Enjoy breakfast at our restaurant. 8:45. Our golf cart will pick you up from Viet Hai village to Viet Hai harbor. 9:00. Arrival at Viet Hai Pier where our tour guide will provide entrance tickets for Lan Ha Bay and HaLong Bay, included in the tour price.

Cat Ba Town - Drop-off at your hotel in Cat Ba Town. End of trip!

Lan Ha Bay - 9:15. Board the boat to Lan Ha Bay. Initially, the boat will sail around Lan Ha Bay, showcasing its spectacular limestone rock towers rising from the sea, and unique karst formations (chopsticks and seals).

10:30. Discover the natural lagoon area of Lan Ha Bay by kayaking through Dark and Bright Caves, tunnels, and archways. This lagoon is the most beautiful in Lan Ha Bay for kayaking and is also a conservation area. If lucky, you may spot Cat Ba langurs (Golden-headed monkeys).

Lan Ha Bay - 12:30. The boat anchors at the border of Lan Ha Bay and HaLong Bay for lunch. The meal is freshly prepared and served in Vietnamese style by the local crew on board (vegetarian options available). Enjoy lunch while cruising through the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations. 13:30. The boat continues to sail off Southern Ha Long Bay. 14:30. Swimming and jumping from the boat at Ba Trai Dao Beach, a natural, remote, quiet, and less-touristy spot. Discover the temple beach, more lagoons, and arches. 15:00. After swimming, visit a local fish farm to see how local fishermen live on the water and farm fish. 15:30. The boat cruises back to the pier. Enjoy the magical sunset with local drinks as the boat returns to the harbor.

Old Quarter - 16:00. The bus will pick you up for the return trip to Hanoi. Around 20:00: Arrival at Hanoi Old Quarter. End of trip!
