Embarking on a journey along the hillsides of Mount Etna, Europe’s tallest active volcano, you are introduced to Etna’s finest wineries. Traverse the unexpected routes of the Volcano, lined not only with an abundance of vineyards but a variety of fruit trees as well. Welcomed with a refreshing glass of Grillo or Chardonnay by the cellar owner, a sommelier will subsequently guide you through the intricacies of this distinctive beverage. From learning about the plantation and farming techniques to the various arrangements of grapevines and ultimately, the eagerly anticipated harvest, marking the commencement of the genuine production procedure - the fermentation to bottling.
