Etna safely and with sympathy - Everything perfect, very interesting experience, nice and prepared guide, absolutely to recommend! The service included an appointment in an agreed location with us, a stone's throw from where we were staying, and where they then accompanied us, as well as a hearty snack in a refuge on Mount Etna, based on local delicacies and wine (arancini, pizza and various pastries), with attention to one of our fellow adventurers, lactose intolerant had snack ad hoc. They also provide suitable jackets and shoes. We thank Danilo for his professionalism, sympathy and willingness to answer our many questions always with a smile! Not too demanding ride, suitable for all ages.

A Fun Adventure! - It was the perfect day! Salvo and Mirko were amazing guides - knowledgeable, funny and kind. The hike wasn’t too hard either! Lots of built in resting points to make it manageable. Overall, I’d highly recommend it.

Etna Experience Amazing!! - We took the tour this morning with Marco. He was knowledgeable, personable and fun. He was great at explaining the volcanic activities, he even drew pictures in the rocks. A half day started at 8:30 and we finished at 15:00. Plenty of time for hiking the craters, hiking in the grotto, plenty of pictures and a delicious Sicilian lunch. Perfecto!!

Unmissable experience - From the moment we met Giovanni, our guide on this fantastic half day, we were thrown into a fantastic experience. For years I had dreamed of visiting Etna and, not only were all my curiosities satisfied, but the surprises, everything we learned and the emotion that this very knowledgeable and passionate boy conveyed to us made this day unforgettable. Etna - Very interesting visit, well organised, Giovanni was our guide and very knowledgable. We had good weather but still a little chilly at the top. Nice picnic lunch. The trip was both English and Italian, Giovanni is fluent in English and was able to answer all our questions. A really good day.

Amazing staff, amazing trip! - Great experience! The tour guide (Danilo) was informative and kept the walk along the craters accessible and interesting. The company also equips you with hiking boots and a warm coat if you don’t have your own (I wasn’t expecting snow so was glad of this!). The best part of booking with this company is the helpful and professional staff they had. My initial booking had to be cancelled due to bad weather and the staff (Laura, Helena) were great at helping me book another experience. They also arranged for me to get a different pickup and drop off location. I’m so happy with my adventure!

Advised - Organized, available, competent. Only two days in Catania but we wanted to go to Etna. We advised that we had to catch the plane in the late afternoon and they respected the timing to allow us the visit and return. Danilo, the guide, is truly competent: he managed to involve a very heterogeneous group (from the 14 year old girl - very happy - to the 70 year olds, foreigners and Italians). The guided tour is really worth it because it made us appreciate and notice things that I certainly wouldn't have noticed otherwise.

Etna morning - Perfect organisation, Andrea our guide, very good, competent and kind. Sicilian snack offered at the end of the excursion. Absolutely recommended!

Great Tour and does what it says - What a good find on line, the Etna Experience, who explained and answered all our questions beforehand. Went with sunset tour with Marco as the guide. Amazing tour, adapting to our lack of ability in places, and brining back photos of what we missed. Topped with a really nice pizza snack, able to cater for vegans/veggies, no problem. and watched the sun go down. Great find, choice of company and super guide. Thank you all.

Disappointed - After having visited numerous sites to go on a guided tour of Etna, we (2) thought we were doing the right thing by choosing Etna experience. Unfortunately the 1/2 day (8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) did not convince us or seduce us. We were the first at the agency near our accommodation, got into a 4x4, then went around the city to pick up the 5 other tourists. 1h30 outward journey (stop to change shoes into trekking shoes). Enough to bode well for a good trek aboard a 4x4 off the beaten track by everyone. What a shame! Arrival at the parking lot of a community. Walk + or - above the parking lot for 1 hour and a half with some explanations in English and Italy (but we knew this when booking). Return to the 4x4 not far from there. One-way transit (15 minutes) on the road to discover the “cave” accessible to everyone. Taking into account one helmet and one lamp per person. The “cellar”, indicated on the side of the road, is a maximum of 15 meters, 80% of which is in the open air. It passes under the asphalt road. Roughly 15 minutes of “underground exploration” which is just as much time as taking out the helmets (in the roof box of the 4/4) This is the experience of Etna, which ends with a trip to a wooded area close to the road for some flaky snacks (3 kinds but to be shared as it seems that there is no account), white wine / water. 1:30 p.m. way back. Request for explanations from the agency without relevant response. Passive listening Cost: €118 for 2. Conclusion : Non-comfortable routing: 3 in the back seat, 4 in the back facing each other in 1 land rover which it is clear is not the appropriate vehicle since only motorable roads are used. Helmets and lamps that could have made us think that…… Morality: Do this experiment formula for yourself. No added value, go there on your own and observe the richness of this site which in itself is remarkable. In this version you don't need a guide, helmet, lamp or trekking shoes. Go there on your own. The icing on the cake: different price for Italian tourists. This is the story of our very disappointing experience. I wanted to tell the company staff that I would report our half day. Positive point: they kindly kept our bags at the agency during our activity. THANKS.
