Perfect Etna experience - We decided last minute to book an Etna morning tour and we were so glad we did! Our guide, Diego, was so knowledgeable and friendly, and he was happy to take lots of photos of us as we stood atop a crater. It was amazing to hear all about the history of the volcano and its relationship with the land and the people of Catania and the villages around, and to see the landscape and the lava tubes and rounding the whole experience off with the opportunity to sample local produce. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants an up close and personal encounter with Etna!

Just do it! - Awesome! So glad we splurged on this endeavor. Giuseppe was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He took some photos of our small group, and....get this....provided them to us without upselling it as a package. That is a rarity these days and very much remembered and appreciated. I definitely recommend this tour. It was well worth the price and will be a memory of a lifetime.

Behold the wonders of the Earth! - It was a trip I will always remember! I went with my two girls ( 11 and 7yr old). We loved every part of the tour. Our guide Giuseppe shared so much information on the volcanoes. The more I learned about Mt. Etna, the safer I felt about being there. Meaning there are plenty of signals and time before you need to react to its type of eruptions. And learning our guide lives pretty close to it put me at ease also. I enjoyed the views of older lava flows and the stories of the more recent eruptions. The walk uphill is moderate and coming down Giuseppe was more then willing to assist anyone who needed more balance as we walked and slid a little down hill on the loose lava terrain. A walking stick may be preferable for some people. I would recommend this to everyone who wants to explore a part of the Earth that shows so much evidence of its power without getting too close to the top! Thanks again Giuseppe!
