Worth It! - Alessandro was awesome. Very informative about all of the culture and history of Etna. His sense of humor and chill demeanor made him the perfect guide for the day.

Etna visit with private guide - Our guide and chauffeur Massimo did at tremendous job telling us about Catanias history and how it is living next to Etna. The driving was excellent.
Massimo was very flexible and the tour was adjusted to our needs and our speed
We finished off at Gambione vineyard where we tasted four different vines together with Sicilian cheese sausages bread oil and more. All together a fantastic day.

Fantastic Full Day Tour - Excellent full day tour with our private driver. We visited the Catania coastline, toured Mt Etna, and then onto the Gambini Winery where we enjoyed some fantastic foods and wine. We especially liked the wines made from grapes grown on the volcanic soil.

Highly Recommended - The trip was great from start to finish largely because Alessandro did an amazing job showing us a good time. Went out of his way to show us a couple sites and views on the way to Etna, and when we got there he gave us as long as we needed to walk around the craters. The winery was also fantastic and again, he gave us the time to enjoy the day.

Great private tour of Etna and winery - Absolutely great day trip visiting Etna and Gambino Winery.
Our tour guide and driver Alessandro was wonderful; very knowledgable of the area and volcano and very friendly.
We tried the local fruit and chestnuts on route and shared a lot of laughs.
We were collected straight from our apartment door and returned to the same point at the end.
Would definitely recommend and many thanks to Alessandro for a great day.

Wonderful private tour! - We took a lot of day tours when we were in Sicily and this was one of the best! Alessandro was a great guide - very knowledgeable about the area and fun to be with. He never rushed us and we stopped at some great places, including Mt Etna and the Gambino Winery for lunch. We could walk around Mt Etna at our own rate as we did not want to take one of the many trekking tours offered. This was at a more leisurely pace. We tasted local products such as honey, sweets and wine. This private tour was exactly what we were looking and so glad we found it! Thank you Alessandro for a great day and all the information you gave us. Would definitely recommend!

Vulcanic day - Good-humoured and informative guide (Alessandro) made this an exciting day. The Etna itself is impressive, but facts about the various eruptions spices the experience. The winery tour was nice. The wine tasting was somewhat machine-like and a one-way conversation, but the wines are OK. No obligation to buy products that were "displayed".

So worth the private trip! - We decided to book with alessandro after reading his previous reviews, and we’re so glad we did! The day was perfect, prompt pick up and planned stops throughout the day. He gave us options to stay longer at Etna if we wanted and took us to see recent lava flow which was not planned. His English is superb, we were asking loads of questions and he knew all the answers! Aside from being a great tour guide he’s a lovely man with a fun personality, you will enjoy your day with him whilst you explore. The gambino tour was also excellent.
