An amazing experience! - Our guide, Daniela, was fantastic. She is very passionate about Etna and that came through. Very knowledgeable. Excellent English. Cable car was very exciting! Mount Etna itself is an amazing sight. Lots of photographic opportunities. Leisurely walk of about 30 mins. Highly recommended!

Well worth the trip, the early start means you are ahead of the crowds - Simone picked us up from our agreed meeting point on time and we were later joined by another couple in the jeep. He was knowledgeable and spoke good English, explaining about Etna and the history. We needed to hire jackets as it was very cold once we had traveled in the cable car, to take a bus to a higher level. Unfortunately a combination of fog and wind meant we did not have a good view, but the weather is what it is!! The caves were an interesting experience with a useful explanation regarding how they came to be formed The wine and honey tasting was just in a local shop Fortunately because of our early start (7.30) we avoided a lot of the crowds Thank you Simone

Super experience! - Great trip on top of Mt.Etna (2920 mt.). We were lucky to experience vulcano activity, like explosions and smoke. Our guide, Tomasso, was very nice and helpful, giving us a lot of information about the vulcano and about Catania.

An amazing day at the Etna - It was an amazing day. Our guide was very cautios, polite and paid attention to our needs. The tour contained everything we imagined, the timing (start of the tour, arrivals to tour points) was perfect everywhere. The guide was fluent in English, biology, dangers in life (sharks, laba cobras 🤣🤣), he had excellent sense of humour and we had lots of fun. He was also enthusiastic of Etna and it has just enhances our joy and fun. Total worth every euros and cents. This tour maximizes the fun and entertainment of Etna.

Enjoyable Etna Experience - Enjoyed the tour, and knowledgeable guide added to whole experience. Pretty straightforward, drive to 2000 meter where there is a whole tourism type set up with shops and parking. Get cable car to 2500 mtr and then 4WD bus to 2750mtr which is furthest you can go. Short walk to ox crator. Cave was a bit underwhelming but interesting to learn how they form and the extent to which they riddle the area. Visit for honey tasting was also good and bought some local fare. Points to note, need light jacket as temp drops the higher you go. No harm in taking a packed lunch. Can be cloudy/misty at 2750mtr so you may not really see much. If misty do keep every one in sight as can get lost.

Not to be missed if you are in Sicily - We did the crater tour with Simon, just my wife and I, and it was outstanding. He drove us to all the places that mattered, and a highlight was the lava tube. HIs English was fantastic, and his knowledge of the place and its history was outstanding. When we declined climbing a more strenuous walk to the summit, he took us the a smaller but flatter crater down the hill. Had we been younger or in better shape we could have had all the hiking we wanted. Instead, it was prefect for our legs. I recommend this tour (also 1. leave early in the morning for the site before the cruiseboat tourists swamp the place. 2. It is VERY windy up top and I had a jacket but could have used a hooded sweatshirt as well.

Etna 2900 crater excursion - We had a great visit to Mount Etna through Etna Excursions. Unfortunately Etna was very active on our visit so it was impossible to visit the crater rim, but getting up to 2900 meters was really cool and allowed an excellent view of Etna spitting rocks and smoke. The rumbles, fumeroles and sulfurous smoke made this a multi sensory experience! This particular tour is not at all physically demanding - involving cable cars and jeeps from Rifugio Sapienza up to 2900 mt and back down again. It was cold and windy at 2900 so even if allowed I think the 3300 mt visit to the summit with my kids (very fit and active 11, 8 years) would have been a bit much. After, we drove to a lava cave and a flow and wrapped up with a visit to a small wine/honey/olive/oil tasting room. Our private (an unexpected surprise!) guide, Florinda, was excellent from the advance communicarion to the knowledge she shared about Etna's history and geology as well as its impact on the region. She was also great with our kids and took really good pics of us :). Overall, the excursion was excellent - the mountain was brilliant and the cave and flow were interesting and educational. The tasting was also nice and fun for the kids - there is no pressure to buy, but the products were quality and we did as they made good souvenirs. Communication with the company was excellent - we had several informative exchanges via WhatsApp before I booked - they were very responsive, informative and professional. Note that the price of the excursion does not include the cable car and 4x4 vans up the mountain, that is an extra 66/50 euro per adult/kid so this excursion isn't cheap approaching 400euro for the family, but it was worth it. Afterwards, we returned to the lava flow ourselves and did a nice hike up a side path and then through the lava field to get some extra exercise. This was a great way to finish our day. Careful of the sheepdogs guarding the flock - they take their jobs very seriously!

Great Trip! - Really enjoyed this trip, Simone was a really knowledgeable guide & gave us loads of information on the journey to Etna & as we went up the cable car. There were only 4 of us on this part which was really good. Once we had left the cable car the next part of the trip I'd in the 4x4 vehicles towards the summit, where other offical guides take over, this guide also gave us lots of information. A number of groups join together for this part of the excursion so less easy to hear what was being said. Fascinating tour & well worth it for the views. On the one we did there wasn't much walking at the top, which was what we wanted.
