More than just a volcano and wine tasting. - What a top day. Despite the weather being bad and unable to go up higher than 2000m at Etna had the best day. Andrea was brilliant and the food ❤️❤️❤️

Excellent - Alessandro was an excellent guide! Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about mount etna. He allowed us to tailor our trip. The food and wine half of the day was excellent - beautiful drive to fabulous enoteca with multiple courses and wine pairings. Beyond what we expected. Highly recommend this tour!!!

12/10 would do again - We went on the tour as the only two English people in a group of German people. Enzo (the guide) made sure to translate all his incredible local knowledge into both English and German for the group. Enzo was so welcoming and friendly and knew a crazy amount of local knowledge, he was passionate and always had a fact about anything we saw or did on the tour. He even threw in a quick detour to the Cyclops stones and a brief explanation of their significance. You can choose to do Etna on this tour to 2000km or take a cable car and tour up to 3000km (this was an extra €78 per person as it's not covered by this excursion). We chose to stay at 2000km and it was fantastic! We did 2 crators, one solo and one with Enzo, listening to his local facts and interesting tid bits. We then headed for the enoteca and this was possibly the highlight for us. The wine and the food was incredible. There was SO MUCH FOOD, all of it local and delicious and the lady who served us was so lovely and explained all the food and wines- the people at this enoteca clearly have a passion for their work! You then head to try some liquors which are all lovely- definitely try the Etna Fire! You can then purchase the wines, condiments and liquors at the end. We also did a cave tour which was really cool (it's an old lava tube from Etna) and Enzo regaled us with facts the whole way there and back to our accomodation. 12/10 recommend and great value for money

Breathtaking Mt. Aetna and Wine with a Great Guide! - This is a great trip that was a lot of fun with a fabulous guide, Simone. He was a very energetic, knowledgeable, and attentive guide who made this trip a lot of fun. We were picked up and dropped off right at our Air B and B which made it easy for us. The ride up to Mount Aetna is so beautiful and Simone was full of stories and information. The views from the parking area at the top are breathtaking. While there is an option to hike around with the guide, we choose the Quad bike tour for an extra 135 Euros for the two of us which was out on the lava fields and down some paved roads. There is also a cable car to the top for an extra charge as well. I would recommend that you plan to spend the extra money on one of these options. The lunch and wine tasting was excellent with high quality food and excellent wine. We were a bit concerned initially as we were grouped together with a large work tour from Romania so there were 2 vans with 14 colleagues and us. Both the 2nd guide Giuseppe, and our guide Simone did a great job of helping us to feel comfortable with this larger group, and the work group were very kind in having conversations in English with us. It was a truly remarkable day and we can highly recommend it.

Wonderful Etna tour. - My Wife and I have been on many tours and this Etna Tour is right up there with the best of them. Our guide, Florence, was excellent, ensuring that everyone remained involved and safe. After the Etna experience the visit to the vineyard completed a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Our guide - Our guide was most informative. He was great fun and had a lovely singing voice. Took very good care of meeting all our needs and was very personable.

This tour was for us one of the best of Sicily - Carmelo, our EtnaTribe driver / guide was excellent. His great sense of humour and knowledge of the area greatly helped make our trip a success. Visit to mount Etna was enhanced by the funicular and bus ( extra cost) and its clear view blue sky. The food and wine tasting part at Enoteca Dell’etna was amazing.

A great day on Etna and wine tasting! - We had a great time on the Mt Etna and wine tasting tour. For starters, our guide Carmello was amazing. He was very passionate about Sicily, informative and funny. The ticket cost includes pickup in a minibus and travel to the Etna base camp which is about an hour drive. There were 8 travellers on the tour plus our guide. When you arrive at the base camp you have the opportunity to do further things (biking, hiking etc) all at additional cost. We did the cable car and 4x4 bus with a walking guide (no more than 15 mins walking) for an extra 76 euros which gives incredible views of the craters and peak. This was an extra cost but was worth it as just arriving at the base station alone there isn’t really a lot to do. After this we visited a lava cave and our guide told us all about recent eruptions and the geography of the area. Finally, the real star of this tour, is the wine tasting. This was at a beautiful winery and included great food, several wines, and liqueurs and aperitifs. After a lovely meal we were all dropped back to our accommodation by around 6.30pm. This was a great day and I highly recommend it!

A very memorable excursion - This was probably the highlight of our trip to Sicily. Our guide, Simone, was one of the best guides we've ever had. Very informative and very charismatic, the trip was enjoyable from the minute we boarded the van. The tour was a great option for our group with varying activity levels and allowed us to see the volcano in whichever way worked best for each of us. The wine tasting was beautiful, and we tasted so much good food. Everyone enjoyed this excursion a lot. I'm glad we did this as soon as we got to Catania, as Simone had great recommendations to share for the area. I highly recommend this tour!
