Join me as we explore the stunning Southern Italian city of Catania. Our journey will take us on a walking tour through the historic city center. We will begin our tour at Piazza Duomo where we will get the chance to see the Cathedral and the Cathedral Fountain. From there, we will make our way through the renowned ‘pescheria’. The tour will continue with a visit to a lava cave, Piazza Federico di Svevia II, Via Crociferi, Piazza Dante, Piazza Vincenzo Bellini, the San Berillo district, and the Roman amphitheater. We will get to explore the beauty of Catania which includes historical landmarks, artistic masterpieces, paintings inside churches, baroque architecture of the palaces, the aroma of pastries, bread, and spring flowers, as well as the hotspots frequented by the locals. We will also explore the fish market and the historic bars as I introduce you to the fascinating tales and myths surrounding the city.
