Great experience visiting Savoca, Castelmola and Taormina.
The driver and guide, Davide, spoke fluently in two languages for the general enjoyment of two Americans who spoke English only, me a fluent Canadian with Italian heritage and an Italian visiting her spouse studying at the U of Catania. Davide gave good background about what were going to see, went out of his way to make everyone comfortable and drove with courage and caution through Catania morning and evening commuter traffic. Savoca was a little disappointing as the “Michael Corleone” wedding church was closed. Lunch in Castelmola was pre-ordered but was lovely. Very good pasta al la Norma and bruschetta two ways was enjoyed by everyone. Over all good value. Great service.

Amazing historical site and landmark
One of the largest archaeological sites in the Mediterranean and a UNESCO world heritage site. The site has 8 temples, constructed in dedication to Greek Gods 2500 years ago, with impressive sections still standing, and evidence of collapsed temples still remain. It is considered second to Athens’ Acropolis in Athens, Greece. It was a fascinating part of our stay, and a unique opportunity to be absorbed in history and witness 1st hand how temples were constructed. Advice is to arrive early in the day, or later, avoiding midday sun as there is little shade and a lot of walking. Scala Dei Turchi - interpreted as Turkish Stairs one of mothers natures gifts. Steps made from granite and chalk that shelter the sea. Access is via a steep stepped path, so requires reasonable fitness to complete. Parking is available on the roadside above, but was very busy when we visited in late August. We were also unable to access the stairs as it has been cordoned off, but was able to get close to see the beautiful landmark. Worth visiting both on the same day.

A long day but a great one!
A long day but a very worthwhile trip to see such wonderful Greek and Roman sites, particularly the mosaic floors. The lunch was provided, including wine and water! I would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing ❤️
Booked three tours with Sicily Day by Day (this being one of them) and what can I say but what a pleasure to deal with such an amazing tour company. We've booked some tours over the years but Sicily by Day by Day have to be the best! Customer service and communication first class. Tour guides exemplary. Reasonable prices. I've never seen so much passion from tour guides from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you everyone, you made our first tour to Sicily a very special one ❤️

Beautiful cities and panorama
Very nice tour, the panorama from Savoca and Castelmola is incredible. I would have like more time in Taormina though, with a chance to reach the beaches there. The guide was very friendly, but didn't stay with the group at the different locations. I guess this is for parking reasons, that are a real challenge in all the three visited cities ! Anyway, it's an easy and efficient way to visit the oriental border of Sicily.

Excellent customer service and great driver!!
We booked a tour through Helena who was very efficient and quickly responded to all my emails. She arranged an excellent wine tasting and light lunch at a beautiful local winery. Our driver Antonio was an absolute joy. On the drive to the winery, he entertained us with local knowledge, facts, and stories. He did everything he could to ensure all 9 people in our group had a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this company!

Etna taormina tour
I took the etna and taormina tour with this company and the driver came to pick me up at my hotel and we drove to etna. Problem was the driver was an older Italian who didn't understand or speak a word of English making it impossible to communicate with him. Due to the comm gap I didn't know that we had an etna guide at the meeting point who will bring us for the hike and cave exploration. Thankfully this guide explained everything in English. The etna hike was good with beautiful views and pleasant weather but very windy at times. The cave we went into was disappointing , extremely small with 2 caverns and that was it. The lunch provided was OK and mostly an opportunity to promote the wine they produced. After lunch driver took to taormina where we given 1.5 hrs to explore ourselves. Again I had to call the office to translate what the drive was saying regarding the timing and meeting point. Could have been a more enjoyable experience if they got an English speaking driver.

10 stars if possible!
The company made it possible for our group to visit our must-see sights in Sicily during our brief one-week stay without the hassle of renting a car and driving. We used their transfer services from Catania to Taormina and from Taormina to Palermo with a 3-hour stop in Cefalu. We also joined 3 of their day trips, namely, Siracusa/Ortygia/Noto; Agrigento and Turkish Steps; and Mt. Etna hike. Excellent and reliable service and everything went smoothly according to our plans without hassles. We really enjoyed all our tours, guides and driver. All the day tours included a substantial snack/lunch with wine/drinks and they will pick you up and drop you at your hotel. All you really need to do is just show up! I communicated extensively with them through emails before our trip and they were quick to respond and addressed all my requirements. Because they offer extensive services, they were able to tailor the transfers to our needs. It was so easy to just deal with one company to provide all our tours and transfers. There are still many spots to visit in Sicily and I won't hesitate to use them again and recommend them to our friends. Thank you Sicily Day by Day (Danilo, Helena and Antonio) for an extraordinary trip!

Come to see ,what you 'learninf at school for many years!
Graziana and Rosaria told me about this tour after I ve booked Etna tour. It was first excursion in Catania and it was awesome. Our guide Gioelle let us easy through thousands years of Sicilian history, it was remarkable, my 11 years old son also wasn't bored ;). Gioelle respected our personal interests and answered all our questions, gave us best individual recommendations for the free time in Noto. The food and vine were very delicious. Thank you very much!

Fake advertisements of tours online: don’t trust the ads!
I planned my day of holiday on the tour from Catania to the Aolian Island that was advertised for the following day. I sent several texts and around 8 emails for them to confirm where they could take me. The answer after 4 emails was just to clarify the question. I phoned at the end of the day and I was told that the tour on Viator for the following day is not theirs. Then I checked again, and I sent another link to show them it was theirs. The woman then told me that it is theirs, but if I book, she will cancel. She said several times "as I told you", with no apology for the false advertising. It seems they do that for a lot of tours. I wanted to rent a car from them in Mazolli, the agents that happened to be theirs were so rude! Don’t trust this company.

Fantastic guide, fabulous tour!
Danilo was the best guide! He gave us the history of Sicily which was fascinating, as we drove to Syracuse and then the history of Syracuse, Ortigia and Noto. He made it come alive! The first stop in Syracuse was very disappointing. Half of it was closed and what was open was, quite frankly boring. We were disappointed that we paid €16.50 each to see what was really a bunch of brass statues that were modern made to look old. The theatre was covered in modern metal seating and cushions with modern lighting etc. We had expected to see an old Greek theatre made from marble or limestone.
Ortigia was fascinating and very beautiful as was Noto.
The streetfood was delicious and the water and soft drinks were welcome.
Frankly, I don't think it would have been half as good with another guide... Danilo was passionate about his island and its history.

Private transfer with Marco - This is one of the best tour , with the private transfer from Taormina to Syracusa . We spent a day discovering beautiful baroque towns of Sicily : Ragusa , Modica and Noto , UNESCO world heritage site . In Ragusa , we had a delicious lunch , tasted different types of cheese. In Modica we stopped at the ancient chocolate shop Bonajuto and also went to the top of the village to see San Pietro and San Giorgio cathedrals . Our personalized tour guide , Marco is the best driver , Very accommodating. He is Extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He explained a lot about about Sicily , history and geology of Mt Etna and even about bird’s migration. Marco has a great personality! He made our day memorable and we highly recommend this tour for anyone !
