Brilliant Experience & Host - Brilliant day out and the guide was so informative. Plenty of time to look around and was taken to a beautiful restaurant. Very personal tour as there was only us and another couple. Plenty of photo opportunities. Thanks would recommend.

The Godfather tour with Alessio - Great trip with Alessio our guide who knew absolutely everything there is to know about the Godfather trilogy. He made the trip for us with his knowledge and interesting facts about the places we visited and how the film was made there. Coffee in bar Vitelli and lunch in Bar Eden made specially for the group - Arancini balls and Canolli! It was well worth it even had Godfather music playing in the minibus 😁

Would definitely hope to Come back again and use lemon tours and Theresa! Tour was great, Savoca was beautiful and the scenes were the movie was filmed still nostalgic. Fantastic tour experience.

Godfather scenes in Savoca. - If your short of time and must do the Godfather film tours then you must pay the money with the guides. However my wife and I are touring Europe in our motorhome for one year and we’ve seen so much history and marvellous places during the past 3 months that it’s hard to believe our travels , luckily my wife is keeping a journal of our everyday experiences, -and costing !! And no she’s not going to write a book !! Anyway, our recent campsite was 15 kms from the Godfather film where Michael sits down in the local tavern and asks for Apollonia’s hand in marriage. Then follows the church scene where all the guests walk down the hill. We spent 3 hours just sitting in the same bar and visiting the same church. Memories flooding back from seeing this scene in the film. Parking is tight and I mean tight in the summer, I guess that’s why people go by coach. But our out season visit in the motorhome was ok. Very winding road up to the hilltop town though. There are 2 other locations within the vicinity of other scenes in the films, especially where Michaels wife gets known up in the car. Unfortunately you can’t just walk up to the front gate and ask the Baron for a look round. You can book the tour through recognised tour operators though, but I think this tour is included with the other visits, costing around £160.

Il Padrino Tour - Isabella was such a good tour guide. Very informative and knew a lot about the Godfather films, Mount Etna and most of Sicily. Would definitely recommend the tour if you have time.
