The best way to see the Causeway Coast and Giant's Causeway - Flip our tour guide was so informative about everything from Belfast to Ballycastle. He told us about the geology, flora, fauna and history of the area. He's a great story-teller and told us about the behind-the-scenes events during the filming of Game of Thrones. My favourite story was the legend of Finn McCool and how the Giant's Causeway was made. The views he showed us along the coastal drive were magnificent, and once he found out that my husband was interested in maps, he was careful to point out the maps at the tourist stops. Flip also scheduled in breaks as we needed them and we had a delicious lunch at the O'Connor pub in Ballycastle. Giant Tours is a comfortable, safe and entertaining way to see the Causeway Coast.

Best tour, and best guide ever! - Having traveled using private guides for years, I have seen the bad, the good, and the exceptional…Flip is exceptional!! From my first communication with him, he was responsive and a delight to work with in tweaking our 2 days in Belfast. We had an interesting history together, as I first booked in 2020, then again in 2021, and finally decided to wait until 2024. Flip communicated with me all these years and held our spot until we finally made it. This tour was worth the wait. Flip knows Ireland, and how to make you feel welcome, and like you are part of the family. You can’t buy that. He kept us entertained, made us feel like we were totally being taken care of (my sister recently injured her knee, and Flip took great care to be sure she was comfortable and safe.) His history with Game of Thrones puts him in a unique position to really deliver the best experience possible. Flip showed us places and things that you will not get on other tours. I am having trouble even writing this review because I can’t put into words the feeling that we all came away with. As our 2 days came to an end, we felt like we were leaving family behind. In our 14 days in Scotland and Ireland, we had a remarkable time with some great private guides, but none came close to Flip in knowledge, personality, and generosity of spirit!

Book this tour! He makes it personalized and you won't regret it. - Book this guy!! You won't regret it. We had a full day of fun when our ship docked in Belfast. Flip Robinson was our guide. We were picked up on time in nice Mercedes van. We were a group of 6, ages 15 to 76. He had water for us in the car. He helped my mother in and out of the car at each stop. We went to the Giant's causeway and Flip took us to see beautiful caves where scenes from some shows had been filmed. He also took us to old castles, beautiful rural countryside to see lime kilns, and a fabulous local restaurant for lunch. It was clear that he knew everyone and thoroughly enjoyed his job. I was struck by how knowledgeable and experienced he is. At the giant's causeway he explained the different rock types and how they formed as well as story of Finn McCool. He educated me about some more recent Irish history. My parents and my kids all loved it. If I go back, I will book another tour with Flip.

100% would book again! - Flip was awesome! We were a party of 7, and he accommodated our shortened itinerary last minute and was able to squeeze in almost everything we wanted to see and do! We will be back to visit due to his tour and the things he showed us, we fell in love with Ireland. Highly recommend! Thanks Flip!

Lasting glow from a gorgeous two days with Flip - On a short tip with my adult son, I wanted it to be truly special. We had just two days in Northern Ireland, and wanted to spend a night in Belfast and a night on the coast in Ballycastle. Flip arranged the most wonderful two days (on extremely short notice!) exploring the northern coast and Giant's Causeway (a modification of the Giant's Causeway tour), and somehow he knew instinctively what would interest us, what we would get excited by, and what makes us laugh! We are totally independent travelers, have never joined tour groups - yet we felt 100% comfortable and relaxed with Flip. The geography, the geology, the people, the botany, the history, the literature, all of it came to life with Flip. He's brilliant, knowledgeable, energetic yet relaxing... and totally confidence inspiring. He guided us to the most amazing places while following the lead of our interests and timing. We were left with a huge glow and a wonderful set of delightful things learned, experienced, enjoyed! THANK YOU, FLIP!!---Grateful Mom and son.

Flip is a MUST for GoT fans or people who just enjoy good people. - My wife and I have done GoT tours in other parts of the world, but NONE compare to our day with Flip. In the beginning I was worried he would become annoyed with my nerd level questions, but much to our surprise, Flip was dialed in with his excitement of the show and the area. Our group was small (3 people, me, my wife and my friend Todd). We went places the "big tours" could not. Saw things they would never get to and had the time of our lives! Flip would drive us to a location, pull out the iPad, show us a scene from the show and it would actual location would be right in front of our eyes! The trees were the same, the rocks were the same and you felt like you were in the show (without the death and ale and nudity). My wife and I had the opportunity to wear real show used jewelry (Queen of the North crown and Hand of the King pin). Ultimately the best part was spending the day with Flip. He is a gem of a fella and I would spend the day with him anywhere in the world if the opportunity ever arrises. Flip was the "secret sauce" of our experience and we hated to see it end. If you're thinking about doing a GoT tour in Northern Ireland, this tour with Flip is a no brainer. Cheers!

The Ultimate Game of Thrones Tour! Flip is a gem and we loved every minute together!!! - Flip picked us up from our hotel in Belfast. We are all HUGE G.O.T fans but my husband and our friend remember every episode. Flip’s knowledge of GOT and Northern Ireland was amazing. The guys had the best time talking through all the scenes with Flip. Before we got out of the car, Flip would show us the scene from the episode which made the tour 100% times better than if we had been on a bus tour. It was trailered just for us. We eat lunch at a pub in BallyCally We highly recommend this tour with Flip for couples, families, kids, or colleagues. We travel a lot and this was by far the best tour we have ever been on. Flip’s kindness is still making me smile as I wrote this!

Seven star experience with 'HODOR' - Flip/Hodor brings GOT to life. You see a cave, a beach, a mound, some steps or a walkway. BUT Flip explained the shot, the scene and showed us the actual clips shot at the spot. WOW it would have been pretty drab but we hung onto his every word and got transported back to GOT. SEVEN STAR GENTLE GIANT we love you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Best day Ever! Highly Recommended - This was truly a wonderful, magical day. I was so looking forward to a Game of Thrones tour and Flip did not disappoint!! It was even better than I could have imagined. My family was a party of five and two did not watch Game of Thrones but the tour did not disappoint them and in fact they are going to watch it now! Flip is so friendly and so knowledgeable. He definitely went above and beyond. The landscape was so breathtaking and Flip did such a good job setting the scene for each spot we saw. I learned so much from this tour. Definitely take this tour! I will surely book another tour with Flip when we come back to Ireland. I am going to tell everyone I know to book a tour with Flip. This was more than a tour it was a wonderful adventure!!

Wonderful family day on GOT tour with Flip! - My family (two adults and two children ages 7 and 9) just finished the most wonderful day with Flip Robinson on his Game of Thrones tour! I could not be more grateful that Flip was our guide! Not only did we spend the day visiting iconic and memorable scenes from the Game of Thrones series, but we saw the most beautiful and stunning landscapes across Northern Ireland. I was worried that my kids would be bored, but Flip is the most wonderful human being who accommodated us, took his time with us, and personalized our trip to meet everyone's needs - and needless to say, we all had a blast! There is something for everyone on this tour, even if you haven't seen Game of Thrones (as my kids have not), and Flip makes the entire trip so enjoyable with his knowledge of the show and the landscape, and his hospitality! We laughed and learned and had the best day ever. We will all be talking about this tour, and our friend Flip, for days to come! I highly recommend this tour with Flip! You won't be disappointed!
