Fun Times At Alive Adventures Youth Surf Camp - My kids, their cousins and some friends all participated in Alive Adventure's youth Surf Camp from August 5-8, 2024, and they all had an absolute blast! Throughout the week their confidence in the sea has grown big time and they have caught ('stood up') on a bunch of waves, and all while doing this in a safe, supervised environment. Ricky and his surf instructing staff were top notch. Can't recommend it enough!

MUST DO !! - I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable experience while we toured Northern Ireland. My surfing lesson was my favourite part of our entire trip and I’m already trying to slot in another lesson before we head back to Canada.

Our kids have such fun and are fully involved every year for their surf camp week during the summer, thank you Ricky - Our three children have been enjoying this camp each year since our youngest was in P2, and my oldest is now 15. Suitable for all ages and equally fun for all. Ricky motivates all to succeed and be fully involved for each 2 hour session over four days. The kids still love it and always want to return. Thank you Ricky for excellent mentoring and fun!

Excellent - Our children had a lot of fun. This is the second year they have went to the camp. Donal was very helpful when teaching them all about the surf boards and and how to get up on them. Would highly recommend the camp to everyone and will definitely book it for next year if we're over from America.

Great healthy and wholesome activity for teens! - We left our niece and nephew in the capable hands of Ricky and his team. The kids had a ball and by the end were able to stand even for a few moments. Can’t recommend the experience highly enough.

Amazing surfing experience - We had never done surfing before, but within less than an hour Ricky helped us to be able to stand on the surf board and be able to really enjoy the surfing experience and feel really comfortable. I would highly recommend for anyone who’s interested in trying surfing as it was really fun and that feeling of catching a wave and standing in the surf board is unbeatable.

Best surfing in Portrush! - As a complete beginner I felt so comfortable on the board and was riding waves in no time. They prepped us so well and I felt all the equipment used was such good quality because I never felt cold for the whole two hours! Everyone was so friendly and helpful and genuinely concerned with teaching. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in portrush!

WOW!!!! - WOW!!!! What an amazing experience. My children had their surf lesson with Enya, who was the best instructor, great fun, patient and full of experience. Th kids loved it and her.

Brilliant surfing lessons - Our daughters had never surfed before and within an hour Ricky had them up and catching waves. He was brilliant at giving them the confidence to do it themselves and cheered them on when they were doing great - and when they fell off too! A brilliant session and we will definitely use Alive Adventures and Ricky again in the future.
