Go through the railway arch into West Strand (opposite Portrush Police station), as soon as you drive through you are in the car park - you will see us set up on the grass in front of you!

West Strand Surf Lesson - I had a great time on a surf lesson Saturday, 24 August 2024. The Alive employees were friendly, fun and gave us plenty of tips to get up and ride some waves. If you want a fun activity on the North Coast get a lesson booked!!

Great morning surfing! - We spent the morning doing a surf lesson at Whiterocks Beach with Ricky. Very hands on and everything goes at your own pace. We had never surfed before but we didn't know what to expect but we had a brilliant time. Would definitely recommend Alive Adventures if ever thinking of trying surfing.

Alive Adventures - Best in the North-West - Best surf school in the north west and probably in the UK. All the instructors are first rate. They are super chilled, easy-going, patient and great at improving performance. All whilst being very safety conscious and surfer dudes at the same time. Ricky in particular has been excellent with my kids and a real ambassador for not just Alive Adventures, but for Ulster’s tourist industry. May the surf always be up!

Great private surf lesson - My daughters had an amazing time surfing on the West Strand. They did a private 2-hour lesson with Enya, who was so encouraging and fun, and they loved every minute. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try surfing in Portrush.

Fun Times At Alive Adventures Youth Surf Camp - My kids, their cousins and some friends all participated in Alive Adventure's youth Surf Camp from August 5-8, 2024, and they all had an absolute blast! Throughout the week their confidence in the sea has grown big time and they have caught ('stood up') on a bunch of waves, and all while doing this in a safe, supervised environment. Ricky and his surf instructing staff were top notch. Can't recommend it enough!
