• 47HC2GW3+8FH - We will travel by vehicle from the meeting point to the starting point of the trek in the Villarrica National Reserve, Sollipulli sector, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  From there we will start the trail, which lasts from 7 to 9. This has a medium difficulty, with slopes less than 40  and without major risks.
  The trail passes through huge forests of Coihues and Araucarias, ancient volcanic lavas until reaching the southern summit of the volcano, from where you can see its crater, the largest in South America and a huge glacier inside.
  During the trek you can observe various geological processes, ancient forests and various animals such as; black woodpeckers, condors, striped rays, comeebos, snakes, lizards, foxes, etc.

The Sollipulli volcano boasts the most expansive crater on the South American continent.
Inside the crater, a vast glacier resides, serving as a crucial source of water for Araucanía, spanning an expanse of 24 square kilometers.
The path weaves through woodlands populated by venerable monkey puzzle trees and towering coihue trees, alongside relics of previous volcanic activity.
The excursion provides an informative and considerate perspective on the Mapuche cultural outlook, as well as the untamed wilderness of the region and its dwellers.
