• La Trinità della Cava - We will have 1-hour guided tour of the Benedictine Abbey, built in the year 1011.

• The Cript from the XII century
• The Longobards’ Cemetery
• The Chapel of S. German

• The Chapter Room with the Maiolica Floor
• Santuario di Maria Santissima Avvocata - This is the final destination of the hike. We will visit the grotto, where the shepherd had the vision of Our Holy Lady, and told him to built a Church.
  From the Sanctuary there’s an amazing panorama over the Amalfi Coast and the Lattari Mountains.

This exciting new hike is part of the upcoming Jubilee Year 2025. The tour includes a guided visit to the Benedictine Abbey, established in 1011. Participants will discover the history of the Abbey’s foundation and the subsequent development of the town of Cava de’ Tirreni (SA). The path follows the footsteps of thousands of pilgrims, symbolizing Christian devotion.

Additionally, the hike offers stunning views of the Amalfi Coast, including the towns and villages of Vietri sul Mare, Raito, Cetara, Maiori, and Ravello, as well as the majestic Vesuvius volcano and the Lattari Mountains. Along the way, hikers may encounter wild horses, goats, and sheep roaming freely, with opportunities to observe peregrine falcons soaring overhead.

The hike is rated E, MODERATE, covering a total distance of 12 km (7 miles). Participants should wear hiking shoes and are advised to bring at least one walking stick for support during the hike.
