Our rendezvous point is the Mandoon Estate Winery in Caversham, where we take off from Mandoon’s private jetty on the Swan River. We leisurely paddle downriver, appreciating the idyllic landscape and the unique diversity of flora and fauna in this tranquil, winding segment of the river. Our adventure includes several ‘raft up’s’, where we join hands ‘mid-river’ for a casual conversation and a tale or two. Our route further leads us to the historic Woodbridge Park where we pause for some leg-stretching. A brief paddle back to Mandoon where we land, and a short walk up to the Cellar Door awaits us. There, indulge in a well-deserved wine sampling, coffee, tea or a fizzy drink. A picture-perfect way to conclude the day.
