Cruise from sea to ocean costa fascinosa - Superb weather for these destinations from October 1 to 11. The chaotic boarding in Savona lasted longer than expected, we had to be on board at noon, ultimately it was 3:30 p.m. Bring hand luggage with something to change your clothes because our suitcases did not arrive in the cabin until 7 p.m. As for catering, the self-service restaurant is open until 4 p.m. and shortly after you can have a snack. Concerning your expenses on board, regularly ask reception for a tracking invoice or consult them on the app, because in our case there was an overcharge at the spa, due to the fact that we had booked on the internet and that At the spa reception they finally offered us another package, with massage, which was more interesting. If the app doesn't work at first try restarting your laptop on board, it worked for us. Every day you will have a logbook in the cabin with activities, shows, schedules, recommended tenure. If in doubt, contact your French representative on board who can help you. For a short stopover in Marseille: by leaving the boat and walking a little you will find a free shuttle which runs every 45 minutes and will bring you closer to the old port where you can easily go on foot (the driver shows you and a map at the exit of the area on a wall), from the old port if you have time tourist train at 9euro goes to the good mother. We then visited the Panie district and visited the Majour Cathedral on the way back near the place where we took the free shuttle. In Cádiz the boat stops you near the city center and you are given maps at the exit for a nice walk in the city. In Lisbon, don't miss the arrival where you will pass under the red bridge and walk alongside beautiful buildings. We also did a walking tour, focusing on the area close to the Alfama boat (sloping). I recommend visiting the S. Vicente de Fora monastery which offers a beautiful view and magnificent azulejos. You will then have time to go down and stroll around the center. Malaga always close to the city we advise you to visit the alcazaba take the elevator 3.5 euro the visit with explanations thanks to QR code in French extensive site, numerous stairs and slope you will then have plenty of time to go back down to see the Roman theater in against low and visit the city center, we finished at the beach with swimming very close to the boat a very nice stopover. Cartagena less things to see, if you go up to the Castillo Conception it's worth it for the view but personally I regret having paid the entrance for the visit not much more to see unless you like watching a film.. . Valencia beautiful city with lots of things to see take the free shuttle to leave the port then follow the turquoise strip on the sidewalk which takes you to the departure bus line 4 for 3.5 euro you go into town. Public holiday for us so lots of closed things including the famous market in the city center so in the afternoon we followed the greenway, a superb line of vegetation in the city which took us towards the new city with the Gulliver Park (paradise for children) expanses of water, the palace of arts, the palace of the sea, the museum of discovery, futuristic buildings to absolutely see from this place we returned on foot to the boat thanks to google, but there are bus lines which take you take you back to the shuttle pick-up point (record the place where they drop you off, that's where they pick you up). If you want to do everything on foot it takes almost 20km. Delighted with our cruise without having taken transfers or costa tours. On board we enjoyed the catering, the wine was not great but the cocktails and others were perfect. 4 USB ports in the room but bring a power strip if you have, for example, an apnea device to plug in as well as an extension cord.... 160 cm bed in a very comfortable balcony cabin. The shows are great on the first evening at 7:30 p.m. and the second at 9:30 p.m. to allow as many people as possible to attend. Entertainment every day with a theme for the evening. Even on days at sea we managed to access a deckchair and a jacuzzi. Pools a little cool for us. Too bad we passed Gibraltar at night so we didn't see anything...
