Join us on an incredible full-day, private journey from Cadiz to the Rock of Gibraltar, where you’ll uncover some of the mesmerising history of Gibraltar. Established as a British colony in 1703, Gibraltar stands as one of the enduring footholds of the British Empire.
Accompanied by a local guide from Gibraltar, we will tour the Battle siege tunnels, offering panoramic views over the local airport and beyond. We’ll also visit one of the Pillars of Hercules with a view of North Africa, St. Michael’s caves - a historic site where Neanderthal remains were found, the Moorish castle, and the Ape’s den. We’ll ascend to the top of the rock, a fantastic opportunity for photography.
Gibraltar’s strategic location, nestled in a narrow strait separating Europe from Africa and forming the only conduit between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, is of immense significance. Following the tour, take some time for duty-free shopping and lunch (not inclusive).
