Island Hopping - “Mae” is an excellent and personable guide. She also speaks at least two Filipino dialects as well as English and Japanese. It was our best day on Cebu.

Great day outing to explore the ocean - 宿霧的第三天,我們選擇了這個跳三個島嶼的海上行程;整個接送的過程非常的流暢,而且沒有耽誤太多的時間。 Great staffs and great organization, we enjoyed all three islands. Lunch is well prepared and also tasty. The snorkeling is fantastic even kind of crowded when all the boat tours came together. Wishing less damage to the environment, especially corals and ocean animals. First visit to Cebu and was thinking of white sandy beaches and turquoise blue water. The tour is small only 8 passengers, very efficient in transportation. Luckily we did not get too much traffic during this coming new year holidays.

A Must Do - Super fun and must do! The staff and crew are awesome- so helpful and lovely. They were always ready to give a hand, literally, when boarding on/off, taking photos etc.. They recorded us snorkeling and we downloaded the videos directly to our phone. I probably totally overpaid the fisherman for the fresh seafood but being an American I know they can use that money.. but be prepared to bring some cash. I wasn’t fully aware of that option and honestly would have negotiated the seafood we bought. The staff cooked it for us and was very yummy. Highly recommend and remember to bring cash to tip the crew- they work super hard!

Great Island Hopping Tour - I had an amazing time. Jess (driver) and Mae (tour guide) were two exceptional individuals. Jess is a great driver, and Mae’s attitude and her high level of professionalism made this tour worthwhile. She’s a very welcoming person and the passion that she has about her work that made the Philippines that much more beautiful. Even the boat crew were fun. I’m glad I chose this trip. I highly recommend if you’re in Cebu to take advantage of this trip and to request Mae. You won’t be disappointed.

Snorkeling, BBQ. - The BBQ was delicious. It was nice to eat fresh sea urchin. It was a good experience to go to different islands and see a lot of scenery. Snorkeling was great to touch so many fish in the beautiful sea.

Island hopping - It was full of fish. It was like being in a tank with a circle. I want to go again. Island hopping around 3 islands, but I think Nalusuan is enough for me.

This was our honeymoon... - This was our honeymoon trip and my husband's first time traveling to the Philippines so I wanted to it to be a great experience for. To start I did message them through the booking to verify pick up time and what car was picking us up. They still said 6am and gave us car information. Starting off with a bad start. It said that pick up time would be at 6am. Calling the business we booked with was difficult. No one was answering. We ended up calling customer service and they said that pick up time was between 6am-7am. They DID NOT state that in the email. It was past 7 and we called again. The customer service also gave them a call and said they would be there at 730am. 7:50am arrived and still no one. Close to 8 I was about to call and cancel the booking but they finally came. I do not blame the tour guide and Driver. It was definitely management fault for not notifying her that she had a booking. It took us 30 minutes to get to the dock. We booked the package that has us island hop with other guests but we were the only guests on the boat so it was nice having the boat to ourselves. She explained the islands that we will be visiting along with what were doing in each island. We got to the 1st island and they teach you how to snorkel. They let us rent out the go pro free of charge for having us wait which was nice, even though we had our own. It was so cool, the other guide from the boat took all our videos and pictures in water as the other tour guide from the business took our pictures and explains everything. We fed the fish and just practiced snorkeling for almost 45 minutes. After our 1st island we went to the other one and it took 15 minutes. Another employee from the boat showed seafood they caught and was selling it to us. Which I will get more into detail. Honestly i felt like we didn't need purchase more food from what they gave us. The lunch they provided was more than enough honestly. We arrive at the 2nd island which we actually got off. It was a small resort. They had this wood bridge and it was seriously kinda scary crossing over. At the time they were still doing repairs from a pervious typhoon. Other than that it was still pretty accessible. You were able to see all the fishes from above and the water was so clear and blue. We get into the resort. There's bathrooms and areas where you can purchase drinks. They show you the areas where the rooms are and it's so pretty. From what was listed. For the most expensive room with a balcony it's about $120 per night which wasn't too bad. Includes breakfast. There's an area where you take pictures with the signage of the island. It was low tide and we were able to go down into the water and took pictures. We went back into the boat and they served us lunch. With the initial booking it comes withvBBQ chicken, rice, shrimp. Dipping sauce( soy sauce/onion) water and mango. The extra food we purchase was the seafood they showed us from the 1st island. We purchased 1 lobster, some scallops and sea urchins (uni). For that was about 2000 pesos. Honestly I wish we did not purchase the seafood. It was rubbery/overcooked. Scallops were small. And uni had very little meat. The BBQ chicken was way better and they also grilled shrimp so just having that was plenty. My husband and I brought snacks and extra drinks just in case. So please do not feel pressured to purchase the seafood. Only thing I would get would be the coconut water. We arrived at the next island we had to take another smaller boat because the tide was was low. The tour guide was giving information about the island. We arrived and they were having a cock fight and it was crazy seeing it in person. I've been to Philippines multiple times and never got to see one in person. We entered through the back side of the island so we had to walk since the front part of the island was extremely low tide. We got to see the houses and schools. We got to an area where they had food and a long line of stalls where they sold gifts. We bought a few gifts and explored a little. They took pictures of us around the island and went back to the boat. Boat ride back was nice since we got to relax. It took about an hour. If you have whatsapp its definitely easier to have them send you pictures and videos. We tipped our main guide from the boat and our actual tour guide from the booking. All in all it was a great experience. Only bad thing was how communication was with pick up time. Other than that it was fun

Great experience but stop touching coral - Staff were excellent and helpful, saw beautiful fish and had a great lunch. I would strongly urge the owners to educate their staff about walking on coral. I tried to politely address it with the swimming guide but he didn't get my concerns. I've seen tourists here doing this and the guides are the beginning. He was genuinely standing on and pushing off the coral please stop.

Do Not Bother With This Tour - Save Your Money - Ironically, this company is named “Fun Group,” which is ironic because it is not fun. I do not recommend the Island Hoping tour unless you have never been snorkeling in your life before, and never been to a nice beach or waters anywhere in the world before (including other places iin the Philippines). Also, this is not really an “island hopping trip.” You do not get off the boat at the first stop, you jump in the water off an island (rather dirty water), you proceed to the second island where you get off the boat to walk around a tiny island with nothing on it to see except a small private resort, and then do a little more snorkeling, and then finally you will go to a slightly larger island where people live with a very mediocre beach. The last island is full of roosters and stray dogs and basically is just trap to get you to buy souvenirs from the locals. Highs: 1) Our guide, Norvina, was very nice and even though this tour was a total letdown, she did her job well and cared about our well-being and attempted to make sure we were having a good time. 2) We did not get sick from the BBQ lunch – quite a surprise. Lows: 1) BE WARNED, the engine on these boats are very very loud – I highly recommend brining noise cancelling earbuds, headphone, or industrial grade earplugs/protection. I wish they had warned us. 2) The boat is very very slow. I am not sure if they did this on purpose to make it feel like your tour is longer than it is so you feel like your getting your money’s worth, but it was the slowest boat I have ever been on. 3) If it is low tide expect the water to be full of seaweed and kind of dirty. 4) They only provide two bottles of water, and two small cokes. Luckily Norvina asked us if we wanted to buy water before we got on the boat, which we did. However, I have been on many boat tours before and never had to buy extra water, because at the bare minimum water is usually included. 5) There Is very little to see snorkeling, I have been snorkeling many times and there was hardly anything to see except the same species of fish over and over again. We could have seen the same thing just snorkeling in front of our hotel. I do take some responsibility as I should have done some more homework before booking this tour. I booked it because it seemed like a good deal and was pretty affordable, but you get what you pay for. Having been snorkeling all over the world, and having paid for a private boat tour (granted usually much more expensive than this tour was), and this was the worst snorkeling experience I have ever experienced. I should have done more homework and booked a more reputable tour company with more reviews. I was a bit suspicious when I saw the high score, but few reviews for this company, but I didn’t think it was going to be this bad. Also, if you do make the mistake of booking this tour, be warned that if the tide is low the water at the first stop is kind of gros sand dirty with a lot of garbage and seaweed. So bad we almost did not get in. Overall, this was an awful experience, and if it were not for the fact that our guide tried really hard, I would give this tour a 1 star rating and call it a scam. Be warned! This tour is only for people who have never been anywhere before and who have never snorkeled before. If you are used to a more comfortable, high-end experience DO NOT book this tour! You will almost certainly be disappointed.
