Dim with whale sharks on Cebu trip - I went at the option of the company that arranged the hotel and the flight instead of the tour here, sorry. Depart from the hotel at 4:00 in the early morning with private transfer. About 56,000 yen for two. The road is not so good and it rocks, so intoxicants are essential. It took about four hours to reach a fishing village called Oslob. We stopped at a 7-Eleven on the way. There is basically no toilet paper in the Philippines except in hotels, so take tissues with you. I'm surprised it's not even in a big shopping center. I thought I'd arrive and wait for quite a few people, but my guide led me through the waiting people and I immediately went to the boat. I made a terrible mistake here, leaving my smartphone in the car... Keep your memories in mind.
Soon we got to a spot of whale sharks and dived into the sea. Whale sharks welcome you with open mouths. Extremely powerful. Another group of sardines or horse mackerel swimming with their big mouths open, their jaws almost falling off. Enjoy 2 or 30 minutes and return to the boat. An invaluable experience. One option is to go by bus on your own cheaply, but for time, effort and peace of mind, transportation to and from the hotel is easy. After this, we snorkeled on Sumilon Island and went to our hotel. What about that Tumalog Falls? I didn't ask because it was troublesome.
Thank you very much.
Waterproof cover if you have a smartphone.
I'm told to wear a life jacket again, but I think it's easier to see if I don't.
Be careful because I was stung by a jellyfish again.

One of the best experiences of my life! - This was one of the best experiences of my life. Do yourself a favour and upgrade to go scuba diving rather than wait 3hours in line to go snorkelling. I had never been scuba diving and it was mind blowing to be up close with these incredible animals!

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome - Everything was great with the tour. My tour guide was excellent and got the guys in the boat to take some great videos of me swimming with the whale shark. The waterfall tour was great, and my driver was the best. Thanks for the sticky rice; it was great.

good experience - This is one main attraction that my husband and I were expecting when booking our flight to Cebu. We booked a hotel in the city so we had to endure waking up as early ad 3am to be picked up by our driver. We arrived around 5 in the morning at Oslob and the lines were already so long for the foreigners but gladly there were only a few locals at that time. It was a nice experience seeing these whale sharks.

DO NOT GO! - DO NOT GO! One of the most inhumane activities. I read the reviews before booking and thought it looked okay but when we arrived there were 100s of people queuing up, being herded like sheep and lining up on the beach in life jackets. The whale sharks are definitely fed to hang around the area, even though they advertise otherwise. We decided when we arrived that we wouldn't go through with it because of how sick it made us feel to see all of that. The poor animals.

DO NOT DO THIS!!! - DO NOT DO THIS!!!! I had planned to do it until I researched. These whale sharks are fed to lure them in!!! This causes many problems with the whales sharks. This practice is abuse to them!
If u want an experience that doesn’t harm them, go to Mexico. You boat appx 22 miles out to see to find them on their migratory route, they are NOT lured in. I stopped counting at 65.
There is also a whale shark tour from southern Luzon. Can’t remember where. Whale sharks aren’t lured in. You boat around looking for them, and are not guaranteed to see one.
Before you book this harmful tour, look deep into your heart. Do you care more about the creatures of this earth and doing what is right, or your stupid IG/FB photos?

Overpriced - Do not take an organised tour, the fee to see the whale sharks isn t more than 10€.
Take a bus instead of a tour guide and do the same for almost all the tours in the Philippines.

Flee - Horrible, no respect for the animal. To escape, don't go there you will regret it. Choose another spot that is more respectful of the animal...
