Excellent Tour for Balikbayans - Our driver Enrique was very quiet but drove my entire family safely between destinations. Our tour guide Jojo was excellent and was very accommodating of my kids throughout the duration of the tour. Thanks!!

Private Day Tour - We would like to thank you for a great service. We all like to commend our TG Jonathan and our driver Cesar. You really assigned us good people. Jonathan is very well knowlegeable of not only the places we went to but the history of Cebu and the country as well. He made the trip worthwhile. He made our moods light as well as our spirits high esp during traffic. Thank you so much Jonathan. Great job!!! As for Cesar, he took good care of us by his driving prowess. He really knows the ins and outs and very familiar with routes esp when there is traffic. He is very polite and he assisted us so well. Thank you so much Cesar. You both have good corrdination, too. Kudos! We did overtime in this trip because of traffic as well. But we all enjoyed and House of Lechon's awesome. Thank you all once again and we will keep you in mind when Cebu pops out.

Excellent coverage of the points of interest in Cebu - We thoroughly enjoyed the private tour of Cebu's highlights on Nov 18, 2024. Our guide and driver Wilson agreed for us to curate the original itinerary, which enabled us to spend more time at the places which really interested us, such as The Tops lookout and the Yap Sandiego ancestral house. This resulted in a more personalised and memorable experience.

You'll need to add tour... - You'll need to add tour guide to better know about facts about the places you'll visit. Your driver may or may not know the information. Our guide - although very enthusiastic - will need to learn more about the places we'll visit and create/tell stories to liven up the tour.

Very good, but can be improved - The day trip was enjoyable overall, but there are areas that could be enhanced. Firstly, the itinerary overlooked informing us about the church's dress code, which unfortunately led to us missing the visit. Providing this information beforehand would have been beneficial for our preparedness. Secondly, despite pre-booking a vegetarian meal for my wife, we encountered difficulty in locating a restaurant that catered to this dietary preference. It was evident that the guide was not adequately prepared for this. Despite these shortcomings, the trip was pleasant, and we would recommend it. With minor adjustments, this experience could be flawless.

Keep in mind you have to... - Keep in mind you have to book this tour with a tour guide SEPARATELY and there is a lot of traffic in Cebu so a lot of time will be in the car. My mom is from the area, so she was able to be our tour guide and communicate with the driver. However, the driver, Jeck, didn't really speak much English and he just dropped you off at the places, he doesn't really talk about them. We started with Sirao Garden and then worked our way down, which I thought was a very good strategy because we were able to avoid most traffic this way. However, at lunch the driver insisted that we pay for ourselves at House of Lechon, which was wrong because lunch is INCLUDED. When we told him this he said he would " pay us back" if we paid cash first which annoyed me so we insisted he paid the restaurant up front, thankfully he did. (We later got food poisoning from the fish at House of Lechon, my sister had the chicken and she was safe just FYI) The rest of the tour was okay, visiting Lapu Lapu and the Yap House was nice. We felt more in touch with our roots. But I would probably recommend a different tour, same locations

NOT a Tour. Two steps above a scam. - How this package managed to be listed as featured on Trip Advisor is beyond me. This is NOT a tour. It would be accurate to describe this as a self-service day trip with a driver; the company will just charge you (in my case as a solo traveler) 2.5 times the cost of actually hiring the driver, add the word "tour", and pocket the difference. It is two steps above a scam. You will be given no context on where you are going and why it significant, unless you do self-service research beforehand, because when you're dropped off at each site there is no tour guides there, either, and most of the sites do not have any preamble describing why they matter. I don't know about you, but I come to Trip Advisor specifically when I do not know the place and want a tour to give me context. If I wanted a private driver to go to a list of places that I have to do research on myself, I would just find that on my own. This package does not belong on Trip Advisor, as it actively subverts what you'd expect out of a tour package listed here. At the minimum, the with-tour-guide option should be the default, not an extra hidden option that you only discover after it's too late to make any changes. My money is already spent (wasted) on this package, but you, my friend, can save yours by skipping on this.
