Total relaxation and wonder - This tour is the perfect way to end your holiday! Several hours of pure relaxation, enjoying the nature, learning new things, seeing some truly amazing sights and relishing in the beauty of the locations visited is a sure way to melt away all the stress, worries or tiredness. The group is small and the guides are amazing. Couldn't recommend it more!

Highly recommended experience - Excellent experience, highly recommended. A boat trip through the mangroves saw a crocodile, crabs and flamingos. Also we were able to stop in the middle of the sea and go down to take a Mayan bath.

Day trip to Celestún - Antonio was a great host, there were only 3 of us and he made our experience a great one. He was the highlight of our day trip. The boat ride was nice but August is not the best time of year to see much wildlife l. The beach at Celestun was very clean and water was good. Service at the rest/ bar on the beach was good.

Mexico 2024: a trip to Yucatan - While staying in Merida, we booked this daily activity to visit the Celestun Lagoon. Our driver brought our group to the lagoon and we went birdwatching until we were able to see the flamingos from close. We then, explored the mangrove forest and also saw a crocodile. There was a place in the forest were we could also swim in this mixed water (half fresh half salty) - the scenario was very picturesque. The trip ended with a stop at the first location where we saw a family of raccoons, and then at the beach: the water was very rough that day, and we really couldn’t see the sand but we had a good time.

Very beautiful everything, but as time on the beach. - The whole landscape was beautiful, but we needed time on the beach... one more hour would have been enough. The food in the palapa was very bad.

Tour cancelled at last minute - We were supposed to have a tour September 14. September 13 early afternoon contact from the organization about where we should gather the 14th. Unfortunately, the tour was cancelled the same day around 4.30 pm because too few people went along. Very unfortunate because we were looking forward to it, unfortunately we were too late to book another tour for the next day. However, another alternative to the 15th was immediately proposed. Unfortunately we did not achieve this with our travel planning. + Contact with the organization is easy. + The money was immediately transferred back. - Last minute cancellation by organization.

Horrible Customer Service - I would love to have gone but there was confusion as far as where the pick up would be with the website saying my hotel and someone from the tour company stating otherwise without updating the tour details online. When I contacted customer service, they were very rude and took absolutely no ownership of this mishap what-so-ever. They stated that I would not get any kind of refund, full or partial. I had also booked another tour thru Viator with the same company but luckily I cancelled and got the same tour elsewhere for a better price. I do NOT recommend doing business with Altus Tours EVER. They clearly do NOT know how to conduct a proper business.
