A Saint John of the King rich in history - You can take a tour on your own in the historic centre of São João del Rei, a charming area with many well preserved buildings from the colonial period, but nothing compares to doing so accompanied by a good Guide that at each corner presents details and historical facts that in much enrich the tour. Our Guide was very friendly and helpful. Super recommend.

Indispensable for you who like to understand the history of a city - I always argued that you only know one city and its history walking and that walking tour does well. The Guide is well prepared and presents the city in an interesting historical perspective and allows you to take a different look at the history of Colonial Brazil, whose knowledge is always passed on in badly made cuts.
The tour was done with the kids and they super liked it. I recommend.
