Arraial do cabo - Excellent excursion to Arraial. The guide a charm that was in the detail of doing the whole tour in Spanish and Portuguese. The travel time is not as long as we thought and the transport was very comfortable to sleep on the return.

Beautiful beaches - They are amazing scenery, beaches , food and very helpful hosts, on the other hand the prices are accessible, it is also close Cabo frio

Definitely worth it, but language is a focus - In general, the tour was worth it. Only downsides are that I wanted a tour in English, and in practice I was stung by Spanish speakers and the tour Guides could not speak English. Another flaw is that lunch was not given until late afternoon (around 17h).

We booked this day trip... - We booked this day trip hoping we would see gorgeous beaches... But unfortunately, the company has forgotten our existence and has cancelled our tour without even informing us!! Avoid this travel company if you don't want to spend half of your morning waiting for them. It took one hour of non-stop calling to get a rude operator, and no explanation

16 hours of disappointment: a tour that's not even worth half - If I could give zero stars, I would. We booked a tour “in English” to see three beaches and swimming spots in Arraial do Cabo – what we received was a complete disaster. First of all, the guide only spoke Portuguese, had an extremely basic Spanish and no English ping, even with our explicit request for a tour in English. When I complained via WhatsApp with Miguel, responsible for the service, they said that “they didn’t need to speak English because I’m Brazilian” – as if it justified ignoring my boyfriend and my mother-in-law, who don’t understand Portuguese or Spanish. When we tried to speak in English with the guide, she categorically stated that she could not communicate in that language. Other passengers also complained that they did not understand her Spanish. When I pointed out this problem, Miguel reacted by attacking me for “criticising the broken Spanish” of the guide (a neutral way of saying that the level was basic), trying to humiliate me passively-aggressively and insinuating that I could not speak Spanish better than he, native – without knowing that I am also native speaker. Even when I suggested switching to Spanish, to facilitate communication between natives, Miguel began to defame my character, put words in my mouth and refused to recognize any mistake. At no time I asked for anything but respect, adaptation to the announced service and an apology – which never came. The lunch, promised as part of the package, was only served at 7:15 p.m., when the tour should have already ended. We were rushed to leave at 7:45 without any explanation or excuse. The tour, scheduled for 12 hours, consumed 16 exhaustive hours due to logistics and communication failures. We could only understand the real reason for so many delays and schedule changes thanks to the hotel that intervened in our favor. Miguel and the guide limited themselves to saying that “there was a lot of traffic, but it would still give time to complete the tour” – which, in fact, did not happen (we made only one stop). After a lot of insistence, we got some of our money back – and it was the hotel that mediated everything, as Miguel himself refused to return any penny. The amount repaid barely reaches half what we paid. If you’re looking for a family, organized and truly English-language tour, stay away from Pepe Rio Tours. Lack of extreme professionalism, neglect with the client and a complete disrespect for the promises made. Total disappointment and waste of time and money.

Horrible Tour Agency - If I could give zero stars, I would. We booked an English-speaking tour to see three beautiful swimming spots and beaches near Arraial do Cabo. What we got was a chaotic, disorganized mess that completely ruined our day. First of all, the guide spoke only Portuguese, with extremely poor Spanish and absolutely no English, despite the tour being advertised as English-speaking. We couldn’t understand a single thing being said. Lunch was supposedly included—but we weren’t served any food until 7 PM, and even then, there was a massive line. We finally got to eat at 7:15 PM, at which point the tour should have already ended. We were rushed out of the restaurant at 7:45 PM. No one from the company apologized or explained the delay. The tour was supposed to last 12 hours. It ended up taking 16 exhausting hours, all due to terrible planning and logistics. Instead of a calm, scenic experience, it felt like a mobile nightclub. Loud music was blasting non-stop, the boat was filled with drunk people, and worst of all, alcohol was being served to minors. This is absolutely not suitable for children or families. If you’re looking for a relaxing, family-friendly tour, stay away from this one. We came to see the beauty of Arraial do Cabo and instead got one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had traveling. There was no respect shown for people who didn’t want to get drunk or party. It was misleading, exhausting, and incredibly unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and avoid Pepe Rio Tours. This was not what we paid for. Total scam.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TOUR!!! - We paid for a trip to Arraial do Cabo, which was supposed to include three swimming stops and lunch. This is what we got: a six-hour bus ride before boarding the boat. The boat went straight to Arraial do Cabo, where we spent just 40 minutes at the beach. After that, we stayed anchored at the same spot for two hours. During this time, they blasted loud party music and people were spraying beer all over our belongings. While this might be fun for some, we were on a family trip and definitely did not sign up for a party cruise(!). On top of that, the toilets were filthy, full of urine, and utterly unhygienic. After 10 hours, we finally got lunch (at 7 PM!!). The whole trip was supposed to last 12 hours, but as of now, we’ve been traveling for 14 hours. We’re still on the bus heading back to Rio and likely won’t arrive for another three hours. To make matters worse, we specifically selected an English-speaking guide, but there was no one who spoke English. Luckily, one member of our family speaks Portuguese and could translate. I would strongly advise against taking this tour. We paid a lot to avoid a terrible experience, but this trip turned out to be a complete disaster!

Amateurism highest level, terrible, I DO NOT recommend to anyone!! - The worst possible ride, it takes hours to get to the starting point, and even more to leave Rio. When arriving in Arraial, the disappointment comes even more by the fact that the tours do not end as combined, almost 16:00 hours took us to lunch in a nasty restaurant, with sour food (all had indigestion), and to complete, when we left the van, we forgot a bag with basic care items of our children, sunglasses, and etc. (we were the first to go down at the Hilton Hotel, and soon afterwards we communicated the agency, they were not to check with the guide, that they were leaving the guests in their respective hotels, terrible, just said that it was not in the van and point), so how? we were the only ones with children on the tour, I proposed to go pick up wherever they were going, and even so they did not give the minimum, a lot of irresponsibility and kindness at the highest level, terrible, NO RECOMMENDING NONE!!
