Very informative. - Lucemir was very knowledgeable about the city and the locations. He also seemed know most of the people at the places that were visited. Recommended for a good half-day tour, for deatiled history of the locations of cultural significance in the city.

He explained to me all the details and took photos of me, which is so kind when you are traveling alone. Excellent guide - Excellent Guide, very helpful and willing! He is a deep knowledge of the history of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil in addition is a great photographer!

Energetic walking tour! - Lucemir was fantastic! His deep knowledge and passion made his tour for us super interesting. And his enthusiasm and stories made it so much fun to spend the day. He also went out of his way to take some amazing photos of us. We appreciate him making our trip special.

Fantastic experience in Rio - Lucemir was a wonderful guide, incredibly insightful along with good humor. He made a last full day in Rio very memorable.

Not good!! - Apart from the fact that we did see everything we wanted and what was described in the ad the Guide Lucemir was very bad ... he arrived late, was rude in the mouth, and told many uninteresting stories that really had nothing to do with the tour of the city.

WTF… the WORST walking tour ever - My husband and I took Lucemir’s tour. We are fairly well travelled and have taken walking tours all around the world and have experienced tours from very poor quality to excellent. However we’ve never before had an experience quite as baffling and outright terrible as this. Lucimer showed up late (although only by a few minutes) with his excuse being that he had lost his camera. However he then proceeded to tell the story of the lost camera multiple times throughout the tour, as if having forgotten he had already told us many times. He was disorganised, and did not really seem to know where he was going next - he would tell us we were going to see one thing, then change his mind and say “no let’s go this way”, not following the advertised itinerary at all. He provided very little information about the historical sites, and instead spent a great deal of time telling us personal stories that were of no relevance to the history of Rio. Some may find this quirky and charming, however to us it was an unnecessary waste of time. He was unable to answer questions about Rio when asked. He then became more inappropriate and the stories became of a sexual nature which was not suitable for the tour. He was openly rude about previous guests on his tour, and about other women we walked past. He forgot my name, and for half the tour referred to me as “girl” rather than asking my name again. He took some photos of us on his personal camera which we did not mind, but others may find this intrusive. He also appeared overly paranoid about security (much more so than my Brazilian extended family who had given us guidance on what to expect in Rio). Overall, the tour showed us some of the sites about which we learnt very little, and was much more about Lucemirs stories and all delivered in a highly unprofessional manner.
