Great Tour - Great tour with Lucemir. He was very knowledgeable about history and had lots of stories about the local sites we visited and walked past. He was very kind and an excellent guide. Both my wife and I really enjoyed the tour.

More than a tour, an experience you'll never forget - The tour was amazing experience. The tour guide was full of backstories of local culture and history that were fascinating and definitely an addition to any tour book. Lucemir was one of those "most unforgettable characters you'll ever meet," knowledgeable and expressive in every tone from erudite to bawdy. A story for every corner, mostly humorous. We got so much insight into what Rio is like for the real people-- has been over the hundreds of years. He responded to our interests by taking us extra places. He even took us to a little Cafe that is the only place I've seen a drink made with a unique Amazonian fruit cupuaçu for us to taste. He bought us two versions to experiment with. It was like that all day.... well three plus hours but it felt like all day for all we were getting

Best hotels in Rio with Lucimir - Highly recommended! Lucimir accompanied us to discover Rio with precision, passion and told us the story and many anecdotes about the city. He speaks perfect English, Spanish and also Italian. Very passionate and great photographer.

Go the extra mile! - Great tour - Lucemir went the extra mile to ensure we saw and learnt as much as possible, even hailing and paying for taxi to get us to our final destination on time. We experienced a huge amount and doubled our daily step target!

A different and personal tour - I was the only person on this tour and I got a good and personalised version of the tour- with a lot of facts and informations . There is nothing standard about Lucemirs tour - so if you are looking for a tour guide with an umbrella throwing facts from a guidebook around this is not for you. You can expect a different and very personal tour with a guide that seems to know everybody in Rio.

Amazing tour of Rio's Center - One of the most knowledgeable guides I've been with. Has a story for everything and has an undeniable passion for his job and the history of Rio de Janeiro. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who has even a remote interest for the history of Rio and its historic buildings.

Exactly what you want - Lucien is the best!! He was very protective of our group and even helped corral other tourists at the Selaron steps so we could get a picture. Super knowledgeable guy with lots of ins and outs. Be prepared to walk a TON- I think we did 6 miles.

An excellent walking tour of Rio - It was an extended trip. Because there were only two of us, the guide took all the time for us and showed us everything. We are very satisfied with the guide. Instead of 3 o'clock it took us 5 hours. He showed us the most beautiful buildings to see from outside and inside. We recommend everyone to do this tour.

Three stars for a reason - Well I gave 3 stars because 2 or less activates Tripadvisor to not publish it straight away. The start point was confused, the guide spent 10 minutes at least talking to a friend. We started gone 9.30. Then we had a drink, but I think the real reason was the guides breakfast. Learnt almost nothing on Rio, but the guide was a black belt in ju jitsu and liked offering fights, had multiple wives and just bought an air con unit. Visited some ( a lot) churches and the steps. We told him churches weren’t our thing. Don’t waste money, go on a free tour and pay what you think. Don’t get fleeced.
