Super recommended tour to see the waterfalls and hidden places in the hills - This excursion to the waterfalls and the cachaça factories, the stills, is incredible. I highly recommend doing it with Paraty Tours, they have very professional guides, informed and attentive to any questions. If you go with children, they help you a lot since they are first.

Excellent tour to waterfalls and a distillery - I took this excursion offered by a cruise line when we were anchored here. The roads are bad and bone-jarring but they take you to several wonderful waterfalls and a brandy distillery. Access to the waterfalls was a bit treacherous and strenous and this is not for anyone with mobility problems. We were in the Bocaiena National Park. Excellent tour. Two guide to each Range Rover.

Agency of excellence. - We did the 4x4 Jeep Tour on 11/14 with Paraty Tours. The first positive point was punctuality. We agreed to pick us up at the inn between 9:30 and 10:00, and at 9:45 we were already on our way to the agency with the driver Bráulio to make preparations. The tour left at 10:30 sharp according to the itinerary. The journey is peaceful and the Jeep accommodates people well, as the guides allocate groups so that everyone can travel comfortably. At the beginning of the tour there is a quick stop to reserve lunch, so that when you arrive at the restaurant it is ready and doesn't take long to be served. (The restaurant is very busy, as several agencies stop for lunch there). We set off for the Usina waterfall (for photos only) and Pedra Branca, which you can swim in, there are several shallow spots and the water isn't that cold. So we went to Alambique, which has a very beautiful structure and in the store the cachaças are cheaper than in the city center. In addition to the tasting, they teach us how to taste the cachaças and you can choose whatever you want to try. We then went to Poço do Tarzan, which has a restaurant for lunch, and there is a well where you can swim too. So to finish the tour there is the (here we call it rala-bunta) which is the rock that you can slide down to fall into the well, and it is a 5 minute walk from the restaurant. Our main guide was Fernanda, a sweet person. He understood a lot about the history of the region, he talked about the importance of stills for the city, the number of waterfalls already cataloged in Paraty and several other curiosities. Everything we asked she answered willingly. The guides are concerned about you all the time and include you in the tour, they help you take photos, get you through difficult places, and have pro activity staff to provide assistance. The tour lasted exactly 6:00 as the itinerary predicted, and we started to return at 4:30 pm. I want to congratulate Paraty Tours for providing such a well-organized service, strictly following the schedules and the itinerary, and congratulate the guides, for providing such a good experience for us. We will definitely return to Paraty and do the other tours with you!

It's worth the trip! - The tour is very pleasant, with strategic stops and very beautiful landscapes, but I believe we could have had more time to swim in the waterfalls. The guides were very attentive and the driver was very prudent. It is worth it!
